    March 2022 I gave ***** a $4300 deposit on a bath remodel, was given a time frame of about 8 weeks out to start the project. After approx. 12 weeks, I tried to contact ***** for an update. Only once did he get back with me saying he would check on the tub order--I never heard anything more. I called the business where he told me he would be ordering it from and was told he never ordered one. The business where I chose my tile told me he never contacted them to give them the amounts to order. Knowing this information I texted him saying I hoped we could resolve whatever was going on without going to court. He informed me that he was cancelling the job because I "threatened" him--he would deliver the tub "when it comes in" and return the remainder of my $4300 deposit. That was two weeks ago. No contact since then. I am a 75 year old senior who feels scammed and would like help bringing this to a close.I would like this resolved by 1. Having the tub invoice given to me and I will be responsible for taking delivery when it comes in (if one was ever ordered)2. He refunds the balance of the $4300 deposit (minus the cost of the tub) immediately

    In March 2022 ********************************* gave me a $4300 deposit for a bathroom remodel. She said she went to a local plumbing store and saw a tub she liked but wanted it to have jets. I went there to look at the tub, they said because it was a special order plan on 6 Months before delivery. I went to another plumbing supplier and ordered from them. They gave a **** week time frame but because  of the pandemic and worker shortage they could not guarantee that time frame. ****** contacted me about the schedule. I told because of the pandemic and worker shortage special orders are taking a lot longer. I told her we waited over 7 months for special order doors the year before. She said she understood. After being contacted again and I didnt have a delivery date because the tub wasnt made, she threatened to take me to court. After consideration it was in my best interest to cancel the job.

     As far as the tile not being ordered that was correct. I dont order tile until we start demo on a job because it only takes 7 days for tile to be delivered. They were not a special order. So instead of tile in my shop getting moved around and broken I dont order until demo.

     I refunded her entire $4300 deposit. So we are square.
