    I ordered parts from Corvette Central in July 2023 to be shipped to my home in *********.The freight cost was going to be large so I looked into other shipping arrangements and contacted Corvette Central via email the 11th of July and asked about the sales tax issue if they don't ship directly to my home address, the response was we can ship to a freight forwarder and no CA sales tax will be charged. That email response is attached.I called corvette Central the 14th of July and spoke to *** and asked her to change the shipping address on my order to a ********** freight forwarder and she assured me that no CA sales tax would be charged. I received a confirmation email from *** showing what my charges were and there was no sales tax mentioned.I noticed that my credit card had been overcharged and contacted Corvette Central by email the 19th of July asking for a refund on the overcharged amount of $473.57 The 13th of September I received an email saying a credit has been issued and I replied with please reimburse my credit card. that email is also attached.I still have not received the reimbursement today the 20th of November.I have spent many thousands with Corvette Central this year and have had the parts shipped to freight forwarders without sales tax being applied.For example invoice # PSI-******* and ******* and ******* and ******* and ******* and ******* and ******* and 0839372.The last two invoices are to the ********** address and no sales tax added.On invoice PSI-******* I have incorrectly been charged ** Sales tax, Please ask Corvette Central to refund my credit card as previously approved.I buy from other sources in ***************** and never had this issue with anyone else.I have sent many emails to Corvette Central trying to resolve this issue but most emails go unanswered.Thank you again for helping me.Kind regards *************************

    An email was sent to this customer apologizing for the miscommunication on our end and apologizing for any confusion. We have issued a refund in the amount of $517.09 for the customer's order number ******. This refund is from charges from invoices PSI-****** and PSI-842374.  The amount of $517.09 will be refunded back to the original form of payment.  Explained to customer that moving forward, tax will be charged if they do not use a licensed freight forwarder, a list of approved licensed freight forwarders was provided to the customer for future orders.
