    Person who greeted us dragged boat over concrete, Offered to help him but was told no. Underside of canoe was worn down.Paddles were dropped / thrown from back of trailer by our greeter. Concerning treatment of equipment.Paddle broke at end of trip, mid stroke. 20 years of canoeing and kayaking I have never had that happen. Poor equipment. Glad it happened at the end as we had children onboard. Greater just said its your fault. Initial contact / booking lady was very pleasant and the trip was nice. Kids had a blast. A shame one member of staff and poor equipment leads to a poor review. Easy fixes for the family / staff.

    Hello,I am sorry about your poor experience. After hearing about the broken paddle, I went and checked the canoes and did not see much wear on them. As we state at rentals and on our rental information sheet, please do not drag equipment as it can cause wear and damage to it. The used canoes retail at $1700, as we use high end commercial grade equipment. We do this for longevity of equipment. After this rental, I had to go console my employee after the customer decided to yell and treat him extremely poor for doing his job. As stated in the lease agreement, if equipment comes back broken we do have to charge replacement fees. Our employee was just doing his job and didn't deserve to be treated poorly. Again we are sorry about your poor experience, however our policy states if equipment comes back broken, you will be charged.
