I attended abcott institute lpn program I was failed for a class because another student who didnt pass due to the fact that an instructor gave extra credit and her grades were audited and I was told my points would be taken away I dont believe I should have been failed for that class I still earned the extra credit points weather the instructor was supposed to give them or not I still did the work if a student didnt pass with the regular test and extra credit then that was their failure not mine it should have stayed between the instructor and that student not to audit my grade and fail me to make it fair for that student when I was already told I passed I paid my money just as well as that other student you only get one opportunity to repeat a class before failing out the program a I feel like that was taken away from me then when I actually did fail a class I couldnt return for the class I needed and that was not fair and even with that class that I failed that instructor changed the amount of test questions on the test and no other class before or after the class I was in has been tested to the extent that we were for that class in which that amount of test questions that was given was not even out lined in the syllabus I was already struggling for that term and needed help and of course I get a failing grade after spending and entire year to complete this program this was highly unfair especially for the amount of money and time I spent away from my family all I asked for was the one opportunity to be returned to me seeing as I was notified only four days before the next term started and the fact that I was told I passed that course i should have not had to repeat it I should have been able to use my one opportunity to pass for the class I failed and even when I filed my appeal I feel like that was unfair judgment because the person presenting my appeal already made the decision to fail me prior to the appeal a better resolution could have been made
