    Worst provider I have ever had. Came out Tuesday to fix slowness and actually made it slower. I have been paying for extreme and am getting less than 1/4 of the speed. Tech was supposed to come out today between 3-5 and never showed up. I called at 5 and was told they were still on the way. Called back at 6 and was told that my appointment is Saturday. I work from home and am so dissatisfied with their service. I would not have it if I had another choice.

    I will start by saying we are thankful for companies like Point Broadband who have brought fiber to rural areas. However, the customer service and technical support is dismal at best. We have now been without service for 18 ours with zero communication from Point. I called to report yesterday at 5 p.m. and was told it was the holiday weekend and unless it was a large outage, a technical team would not be dispatched. They are fraudulently reporting only 500 customers are without when most of our town is reporting outages from 7 miles north of us to several miles south and on either end (west and east). This is a very large outage that deserves immediate and constant communication - because while it may be a holiday weekend, those of us with our own businesses, who are running farms, or who work for corporations from home, don't always get a holiday weekend off. The product works well for us when it is up (which has gotten significantly worse since Point purchased it) but the technical support and customer service are horrendous. This is a very expensive product, and in many instances critical to livelihoods of families, for this kind of response.

    Signed up for service because ****** was increasing my bill every few months for no reason. Initially liked point broadband but about every week after 8pm service just stops. No explanation whatsoever and starts up again in the middle of the night. No real way to contact them. They dont respond. Ive been on hold for an hour.Gave them the benefit of the doubt but if this happens again Im regretfully switching back to .**********
