    3/18/2024, Tuffy in ******* worked on my husband's Jeep Wrangler. He drove to the shop just for an alignment. The vehicle drove fine to the shop. He called me as I was at work and told me they found an issue with the ball joints. He told me they found another issue which could be repaired later. But they would have to do the ball joints prior to doing the alignment. I told him to charge whatever the price was on new Tuffy credit card. (currently seeking dispute). On the way home, he noticed jeep was EXTREMELY difficult to handle. I picked up a copy of the alignment that was done thru Tuffy because my husband wasn't given a copy. When I got there, I questioned why we weren't given a copy of the alignment and was told that they only give out the copy if requested and that this is standard procedure. I noticed that there were barely any changes to the alignment. The jeep was still way out of alignment. I tried several times to reach out to corporate. No answer. I then got a call from Tuffy in Sturgis. He said we could bring the jeep back. They would look into the drivability issue. The guy stated he couldn't align the vehicle due to it being a 4 wheel drive. He never mentioned this earlier. And he stated that he found it difficult to drive during the test drive but thought it was due to wind. Why did he send it out of the shop when he KNEW it was dangerous to drive? He didn't say a thing to us on the day of repair that it had drivability issues. He did tell us he thought it was the axle shaft that needed to be adjusted. I told him I was seeking a second opinion which really ****** him off. I spoke with *****, a mechanic we use quite often and was told they used old parts when doing the ball joints. ***** took the vehicle to another alignment shop and was able to get it aligned correctly. It drove ALOT better. We had a couple other issues repaired thru *****, originally "recommended" by Tuffy, and took it to a final alignment to New Paris 4x4. Vehicle runs perfect now.
