As president of the *************** Home owners Association I requested a refund on the cancelation of the 2023 contract between the association and LakePro. Below are excerpts of emails on the subject:LakePro Sent: Tue, Jul 18, 2023 at 3:16 PM Total: $5,932.50 Paid to date is: $6,552.50 Balance owed to ***** Lake is $620.00."This check will be issued back to ***** Lake at the end of season. In addition, all water quality reports done and data will be sent in September."Our position 11/8/23: Well past Sept. LakePro did not send the reports as they promised above; 2 each water quality and 2 each survey reports totaling $2,360. If LakePro does not email copies of these reports, then the total now due is $2,360 + $620 = $2,980 Now we find: **************** has received notice from Brighton Township that ******** sent a check in the amount of $ ******. and still no reports Is the purpose of that check to settle our account? If so it does not match your response to my email dated July 18 2023 where you outlined the services your company preformed and the amount you would refund.Your email. Stated there were two surveys and additional water quality test reports. You also stated: " all quality reports done and data will be sent in September." Now, it appears, you are attempting to settle with an amount that is more than 50% less then your original figure and we have yet to receive any of the reports etc. you say you compiled.prior to your notice of cancellation.LakePros final response:LakePro reviewed the services, file and the refund was paid. The e-mail was incorrect once the file was reviewed. Check was sent in the amount of $324.80, CK# ****.".....All information sent does satisfy all required information to you for 2023. If you would like additional information it can be requested, we will review the request and let you know if there is a cost associated with the request. All past information was sent to your President per the 2022 Contract.Business Response

Thanks for letting LakePro know we have a compaint against us.
Regarding the complaint: We tried to resolve this back in June when all the treats happen, when LakePro was threatened along with all our employees. LakePro did all the services per the agreement until we cancelled the contract with ***** Lake per resident threats. See below information and all the problems and threats that came from the board and lake members: June 6th all contract and services were cancelled. Safety for LakePro and it's employees was at stake. So we cancelled all services and sent out an e-mail. We reviewed all the accounts receivables in October and sent a check for what was ***** Lakes refund. All other information was sent and received by the board and board president in the year 2023 and 2022 of services rendered.
{To all **************** Members and Homeowners,
LakePro has officially decided to cancel services and any further agreements with ***** Lake for 2023 and beyond. This e-mail will serve in writing the notice of cancellation. The cancellation policy with the LakePros contract is below:

If LakePro is the canceling party, then LakePro shall notify Customer by giving written notice of cancellation at least 10 days in advance. If Customer is the canceling party, then Customer shall notify ******************** by giving written notice of cancellation at least 10 days in advance. {*********,
My wife ****** is extremely scared of these threats to "stop the meeting" next week - as **** also noted he is worried that ***** will disrupt the meeting and or threaten Lake Pro if they attempt to treat the lake.
This has moved beyond disagreements to email threats.
Please use this email to serve as my resignation. I feel It is not safe to continue with these threats anymore.
*** -as VP - you now become President.
Please inform the authorities of these threats - listed below - and that they have scared my wife and I so much
I fear continuing to be part of the lake association.
I sent **** a note informing him of the threats and also that I do not feel it is safe for me or my family to be involved.
thanks *********;

Subject: Threat to ***** Lake from ********************;
***** Board:
We have received numerous emails from ********************; tonight that "********************; plans to disrupt our next CHLPA Board meeting".
********************; does not describe if he will do it verbally or physically - but makes it clear he is threatening to disrupt
the meeting....Given the rash of shooting occuring in this country - the threat to disrupt a public meeting cannot be taken lightly and
needs to be reported to the Brighton Police, Livingston County Sherifs, and ******** ************.
Further, given our experience last year where residents made violent threats and physical threats to Lake Pro if
they were to treat ***** Lake.....we need to let all residents know and Lake Pro of ******************* threat. It is one thing to
have a disagreement...it is another to "threaten to personally disrupt a public meeting!" That is a warning to all of us.
As we all know....we promised Lake Pro...no more threats....I am worried that once we tell them of *********************** threats they will
decide it is not safe to work with ******************* and we will have no vendor partner.
********************; also has threatend that the President and Secretary resign.....or he will make it "hard on them personally" .
******************* has ordered the ***** Board to resign their responsibilities......******************* has stated that he will take over
management of ***** Lake and it 's contract. If the ***** doesn't listen...he will ensure it "will be hard on them. "
Based on these threats I am calling an EMERGENCY MEETING with the ***** Board. Tommorrow 3 PM...Teams..
I will send an email.
At a minimum:
1. We need to let the Brighton Police, Livingston County Sheriffs and ******** ************ know of ******************* disrupt threats
2. We need to inform Lake Pro of **************** threats to disrupt next scheduled Board Meeting. If they resign...at least we were honest with them.
3. We need to inform all residents of ******************* threat to disrupt the next Scheduled Meeting.
4. We need to let all residents know ******************* is attempting to take over all contracts related to the Lake ordering the ***** to disband.
This is not even funny anymore.. No one should ever be threatened like this. What will be our response?
****}E-mail and Info from June 7th:
****, it's urgent that you call either myself *************) or ******************* *************) regarding the ***** Lake contract. *** was VP, & is now acting president, since *********************** resignation. *** is at work & may be difficult to reach. I'm in ********** hours behind, but available for your call.
On behalf of the **************** I request that you stop dealing with ******************* on ******************* matters. Over the past ***** hours **** has acted unilaterally, only communicating with his fellow board members after the fact when the damage has already been done. Even now after he resigned, he is continuing to act unilaterally without including boards members. Please stop listening to ****!
****, earlier this AM I sent you two emails asking you to hold off on any action re the ***** Lake contract until you speak to current board members. If you read the last email thread I sent, you can see how much **** has magnified/distorted what was really a personal issue into a lake-wide owner conspiracy to stop any action to treat the lake.
Even to an untrained eye such as mine one can see that our lake is in a sorry state & needs professional help. ******************* told me many of the owners he has talked to recognize that ***** Lake is in crisis.
I hope that you can find time to reply to my emails and call me or *** personally.
Sincerely
********************;
***** Secretary}-------------------------------------------------------------------
