I had a car that needed repairs. I had a spare car that I was driving and it died on September 19 on way to work. I called Barron's to tow that car(sonata) back to my house and swap with my BMW in driveway to repair the BMW and leave the Sonata at my house. He agreed and took BMW to shop. I told him I knew it needed to have a PCV valve replaced and I would get them one to put on car. On September 22-23 I received part and took to them to replace at shop. They replaced just the PCV valve and non of the hoses that came with part. And left a temporary fix I made to try to get to shop with part store hose. Over the next 14 weeks I waited and was told many things in regards to why wasn't fixed. Always reasons that didn't have to do with me to get car fixed. I called multiple times a week and was given the run around of them not giving mechanic messages to call me back. And then would be in shop and could hear him say he'd call me back and never would happen. Needles to say after 14 weeks and 2000$ in repairs the car was said to be running and could be picked up. Upon pickup the car stalled in the road 7/10 of a mile from shop in front of my house. This was 12/12/22. Car is now in driveway and is still undrivable. Has also had the hood release inside the car is broken off not allowing hood to be opened completely unusable. I would include under hood photos, but I'm not capable of opening hood since the latch is broken from them.

The BMW that we picked up has sat for years and he has been working on it himself. As far as the hood the latch was already broke when he came in. We informed him of that as soon as we noticed. As far as the car stalling. We told him that other things need to repaired. We make them sign warranty waivers since he orders his own parts. But the BMW was in better condition when it left our facility.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The car was driven till February 2022. Then was worked on and started multiple times between then and September 20, 2022. I opened the hood the day he towed to the shop to fix with the handle that they broke off. And during the 14 weeks they had to of closed and opened the hood during repairs. I was never informed that it had been broken. The shop only called me one time in 14 weeks and it was to remove the intake manifold again since he didn't check everything the first time he removed. Only other calls were him returning my calls. And was told on 3 occasions he was on calls and i could hear him answer the ladies at the desk asking him if he was able to talk to me.  Also he took car to shop with gas light on and during repairs ran car multiple times and never took for test drive after repairs were done. If he had drove he would of ran out of gas on test drive since i drove .5 miles home and ran out on my way home from shop after picking up. And when doing main repair I wanted didn't replace whole part. Hose still in car that was part of repair I wanted done. When I purchased the car I took it to him second day I owned car and had the check it over and was told it was good. and drove everyday for the next 2 years 70 miles a day to work. I own 2 of the same cars and that's where he's wrong about what car he's talking about. I've worked on many of my cars and have taken to them when its something I cant do or involves more than I can take on. I only changed one part before shop worked on car and that's was the part I asked to have replaced by the shop and its not repaired completely since hose is the one in picture i sent that was on backseat when i got car back. Also if hood latch was broken why was it not on the bills listed in the parts/repaired or broken. And not brought up at time of pickup to protect them?.

    Sincerely,
