      Signed a $65k basement remodel contract in 2020. Paid Majestic thousands more above the contract price. Project will be in its 4th year in Jan / Feb 2023, and Majestic still hasn't finished the project. Majestic used uninsured contractors & didn't follow the flooring installation instructions (failed to level floor and installed cabinets on top of the floating floor). This negated the lifetime warranty. Majestic had to completely redo the floor after a complete tear-off, but made ME pay the extra $6,000 to fix MAJESTIC's mistake. Majestic never oversaw the $6k re-leveling I paid for, and as a result, I have the same leveling problems. ***************** are on a slant (the leveler contractor appears to have been unlicensed, I am trying to confirm). The $6k subfloor is flaking & chipping. Majestic refuses to install the appliances, refuses to finish the painting & staining, refuses to add the remaining moldings, refuses to finish the electrical. Majestic failed to build & install the custom cabinets per the written design & specifications. Majestic failed to fix the stairs as it promised us in writing (because they didn't level properly, risers have to be re-done). Majestic filled my basement drain with concrete, covered up the clean out with concrete, and says no, we aren't doing anything further. It has been nearly THREE YEARS! We will be into the 4th year in less than 60 days. I paid over $70k and I have an unusable basement. Majestic was dishonest with us. They are now threatening to *** me if we don't take down the negative reviews. We can't find a contractor willing to finish Majestic's mess. Majestic has lied in its posts by saying we haven not paid them. We paid off the contract in full & they know it.
