    We hired "******" from Driforce to install new countertops in our kitchen. We paid almost ***** total. During the installation, the person who actually put the countertops in did not know how to turn the water off properly, and caused water damage below our sink. They also did not put the countertops in properly, as one our drawers does not close properly. ****** also neglected to tell us that we would be without a sink, causing us to hire a same day plumber. When we told him about this, he actually said "you were having other work done in your house so i figured you knew, and they would install the sink for you". After this, another plumber we had come to do work discovered that a copper wire had been damaged in our basement and there was another leak weeks after the countertops had been installed. I notified ****** about the drawer and the initial water damage, and not only did he completely ignore me, but he sent a letter threatening to put a lien on us if we did not pay our bill. We did not pay at that point because we considered the job to be unfinished. When ****** came over to try and collect the final check and fix a crack, I asked him again about the water damage and about the drawer. In response to the water damage, ****** stated "I don't have anything to do with water damage", which is absolutely comical because one of the things listed on their profile on BBB is in fact "Water damage". When asked about the drawer, ******** response was "I am not a *********", and suggested that I try to fix it myself. ****** probably put as little effort into this project as he possibly could, and his responses were both ridiculous and insulting. I am filing this to hopefully obtain a partial refund, and to report this so that other people do not have the same experience that we did.
