    I went to them for a front and right zipper replacement about 2 years ago. They fixed both of them and I was very happy. Sometime last year, the teeth on the left zipper about an inch up from the bottom broke and I went back to the Sewing Room because of my past experience with them, they were great. So around June or July of this year I went in and spoke to them about my left zipper. They gave me 2 options, the first one was a $10 fix making the pocket open smaller and the other was a $50 zipper replacement. I chose the $50 replacement option. I picked up the jacket but did not try it on until about 2 or 3 weeks ago and noticed that they actually did the $10 fix. I went back to them to discuss the mistake and the younger lady at the counter started to argue with me. She was very rude and borderline nasty to me. At no extra charge, she said it would be ready in a week. When I went to pick up the jacket, there was an older lady that was really rude to me and basically threw the jacket on the counter at me. I was happy that they fixed the pocket, thanked her, and left. I didn't try it on until last night. Once I tried it on, I noticed that they removed the elastic out of both sleeve cuffs and lengthened them by 2 or 3 inches. They even went as far as pressing the cuffs and cutting the fabric to make it look worn out on the ********* my jacket sleeves feel like bell bottom jeans and they go down to my fingertips. Also, one sleeve is an 1/8 of an inch different in length than the other sleeve. I am so upset over this matter that I'm here writing a formal complaint.

    You are correct we replaced your zipper in one of your pockets and repaired the slider on the other pocket per our records In system. When you came in on October 22nd you were very upset that the zippers didnt match exactly since one was replaced and one was repaired. We apologized and offered to replace the zipper in the pocket. I personally did your order and ensured it was done to match exactly. I did not add additional work by altering your sleeves.  I can assure you that we did not touch anything else on your jacket. I think its fair to mention that it is an older jacket.  I regret not taking a picture of your jacket for reference. I am also the older lady who handed you your jacket. I am shocked to hear you say I was rude and threw the jacket at you. I was aware you caused a scene the first time you were in so I made extra care to ensure your jacket was done to your liking and added extra care to be extremely polite when giving you your order to make sure no additional scene was  made. Im sorry we did not please you with our service. We hope you find satisfaction with another alteration business.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

    The business is mixing up what was actually done and when. The first was a replacement of the right pocket zipper and a slider replacement on the front zipper. That was about 2 years ago, it was great and had no issues. This issue is the left zipper, I paid for a replacement and they only repaired it. I did not "cause a scene" when I went in to discuss it with the younger lady. I did mention to her that it was probably a mistake since a different lady that I dropped it off to and I talked about a repair and a replacement option for the zipper. I choose and paid for the replacement option but received the repair. Once I mentioned that, the younger lady started giving me an attitude and started arguing with me ("causing a scene"). I figured she was having a bad day and blew it off. Yes, it is an older jacket but the sleeves were at the correct length previous to this incident. I also regret you not taking a picture of the jacket for reference as it would have proved my case without a reasonable doubt . It's not about pleasing me, it's about doing the right thing.
