The total job is split into 3 almost equal payments, 35% deposit, 32.5% at pickup and 32.5% at delivery:
A deposit of 35% is required to book the reservation paid online on our secure website; www.moverpayments.com via ACH checking or credit/debit card**.
50% of the balance is due upon pick-up to the driver payable by Cash, Cashier Check, Personal Check, or Postal Money Order*.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery payable by Cash or Postal Money Order ONLY.
*After the initial deposit, the customer may pay for the entire move upon pickup.
**Any and all card payments will have a 7% convenience fee applied. - Refund and Exchange Policy
- Cancellation Policy:
After paying the deposit on a regular reservation, the customer has a 48 hour window for a full refund. After the 48 hours, the deposit is non-refundable at any point in time for services have been rendered. Last minute moves (any reservation made within 7 days of your first available date for pickup) are non-refundable at the point of reservation, again any deposit made to reserve a last minute move is non-refundable. All cancellations must be made via email to [email protected]. Any cancellation made after the 48 hour window will result in the forfeiture of the all deposit(s) fee(s) paid.
After your move is scheduled, space is reserved with a carrier and truck routes are blocked off. Fuel may be spent, and driving hours/ miles may be recorded. The cancellation policy is in place to compensate for losses.
USMS makes no expressed or implied warranties or guarantees concerning pickup or delivery time or the location of a carrier to provide the transportation service requested. If USMS is unable to assign an agent to your move before the scheduled pickup date and no transportation has been provided then you will receive a refund of your deposit as full satisfaction of this agreement releasing USMS from any liability by canceling the move. - Business Categories
