    Beware of MJM Restoration I found MJM Restoration through Angies List based on positive reviews, but my experience was disappointing. I had termite damage requiring minor drywall repair and a window replacement. Initially, communication was good, but it quickly declined. Despite providing my contact information for texts and emails, I often faced broken promises and canceled appointments.One cancellation was due to illness, which I understood, but after confirming a visit for 8:30 AM the next day, no one showed up until 10:30 AM, without any apology. This lack of professionalism persisted throughout the project.The job was smaller than anticipated. Only minor work was needed for the window framing and drywall. When I asked if the bill would be adjusted for less work, I was told subcontractors charge by the day, regardless of hours worked. While I received a $200 material credit, it amounted to just a 4% discount.Although the custom ******** window looks great and the installation team was professional, the wall finish was poorly done. The baseboards had a significant gap where there had been none before, and their fixcaulking and paintingwas subpar. I raised this issue, but was told it was common practice, and any further attempts to address it were unsatisfactory.Overall, I was disappointed with the professionalism and quality of work. I expected better attention to detail, and I wont be using their services again. I urge you to look elsewhere.

    We replaced a window for this customer, she said she loved it and we had to do wall repair on the interior of the house she than wanted a discount because she said that the original estimate called for more drywall repair, so we gave her a $200.00 discount. We completed the interior repair and she than contacted me and said that the shoe molding had a gap which we caulked, and she still wasn't happy, so we came back out and re-caulked. She than sent me pictures of what she wasn't happy with, and I tried to explain to her that if she wanted to have us redo the shoe molding, we would be able to accommodate her. She refused to have us come out again. The shoe molding she is referring to is approximately 20/ft long. We tried to accommodate this customer, and she refused. We take great pride in the work we do and have a 5-star rating with *****. We can't help it if someone wants to be unreasonable. The old saying applies to this customer. You can make most of the people happy all the time but some of them not all of the time, unfortunately. We wanted to correct the problem, and she wouldn't allow us to.
