    This year for Mothers Day my children decided to gift me with getting my car detailed; something I have been asking for for a while now. Upon looking at reviews, they decided to go with Nostalgic Detail in ********* as they had a 5-star review. What a mistake that was!Now, before I even go into the details, I will say my car was dirty. But that was the whole reason I wanted it detailed in the first place. Im not unreasonable and I wasnt asking for a miracle to happen. But I did expect my car to be vacuumed properly, the cup holders cleaned out, and the car to be whiped down. None of that was the case. When I picked up my car, I was very disappointed in the job that was done. The owner **** was not there, so I asked that he called me. When he called me, I attempted to tell him about my disappointment in the job done before he cut me off and began to belittle me. He told me how he spent extra time on the car, refused to let me talk and explain my concerns. He was extremely rude, belittling, and to be honest, his customer service was just as bad as the job done to my car. He ended the phone call by telling me Just pay whatever you think the job was worth, leave the money under the door. We had left money originally, but after that encounter and the job done to my car, we left none. I wasnt expecting a miracle to happen, or even money off I just wanted the cupholders cleaned, as well as under and in between the seat vacuumed. I have uploaded pictures of what my concerns were. I dont think I was being unreasonably.I would have been happy to pay more if he would have looked at my car as I dropped it off or had been professional when texting after the car was dropped off. Instead, I left feeling defeated and had to have my daughter finish cleaning my car for me.

    We are surprised you decided to leave us a one star review, because you booked an interior detail sight unseen, then dropped off a seven passenger vehicle that had not been cleaned in over 7 years and was full of pet hair, grime, damage to nearly every door card, and a thick film of dirt in every door jamb and crevice. Despite our basic interior detail packages consisting of 90 minutes of cleaning, we decided to go ahead and spend much more time on your vehicle. After spending 3 hours carpet washing your vehicle, scrubbing your vehicle and even resorting to utilizing a furminator several times on your vehicle, I made it clear to you, that this is not a traditional interior detail, and I would do my best to clean it up, however everything could not possibly be removed without spending nearly 8-9 hours straight thoroughly steaming and disinfecting everything. We also stated that if you took this to any other detailer, they would refuse the job or charge you way more than the standard interior detail rate we charged you. When you still voiced your displeasure, I told you to pay me what you felt was right. Not sure what more I could do for a customer with unrealistic expectations. Some individuals can never be satisfied no matter what you offer. And to top it all off, YOU DID NOT PAY A CENT FOR THE SERVICES PROVIDED TO YOU!
