I had my windshield and two front windows tinted at this place and they made a giant crack at my windshield and denied it. When I first walked in as a potential customer, the woman named ******* in front desk was super nice and sweet. So I trusted her and pay her $410 before the job completed . I carefully examined my windshield before I left my car to the company, because ******* told me that if windshield cracked again the whole tint has to be redone. My husband picked up the car that afternoon and once it was home we noticed the crack in the windshield. The next morning, I took off work and went to talk to them. The door was closed at business hours. So, I called and ******* answered the phone. As soon I told her my name, she immediately became defensive. I told her my disappointment about the damage and how they did not bother to inform me about it. She dismissed me and insisted that the crack had been there before hand. I tried to reason with her, asking if it could have been another employee's doing without her knowledge and asking if they had noticed the crack, wouldn't it be proper procedure to contact me and confirm that I knew of it and wanted to proceed with the work? She told me she said, "I thought you wouldn't care." I continued to explain that I had confirmed the whole windshield was in perfect condition before dropping the car off yesterday morning, and that I would never get anything done knowing I had a crack in my windshield. During our consultation, I even purposefully asked about how future repairs would be handled following this work, if anything were to happen, because I wanted to avoid a situation like this where after spending $410, my windshield needs to be replaced. ******* began to yell and before I could say anything else, said "F*ck you, b*tch. Go get a d*mn lawyer." and hung up on me.

Like I explained when you called the next morning. The rock chip was there when we pulled the vehicle in. You said while standing in our lobby that you thought you had a rock chip, but then couldn't find it. When I walked out with you to the vehicle, you pointed to that area and said " I thought I seen something in this area." I didn't see anything, you didn't see anything.
Then we pulled it in and under our shop lights could then see it. Soapy water, rubber squeegees, or window film can not cause a windshield to chip. The fact that we work on the inside of the window, not the outside of the window. Makes it even harder for us to cause damage to the outside of the windshield. Rock chips are created by an impacts of rock or debris from driving.  Plus the chip can be filled, even with your windshield tinted. The film does not affect that at all. Like I have already explained, when you said you didn't want to have it filled. If you replace the windshield, your insurance company would pay for  it to be tinted again. It wouldn't come out of your pocket, aside from either your deductible or if you don't have glass coverage.

But we did not rock chip your windshield and no I will not refund your money for the job. If you wouldn't have been so rude and name calling on the phone. I would have let you know that if you didn't have glass coverage and had the windshield replaced like you seem to want to do. I would have offered to tint it again free of charge to help you out. But you were so unbelievable rude and then you started calling me names. I have no interest in having you back in our shop.

    Have a wonderful day!
