DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They do shoddy, amateurish work far below a professional level. They completely messed-up our bathroom and then had the nerve to bill ** above the estimate price! We will be suing this company. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE!

Mr. Grandahl; because you didn't want to spend the money you went with highly cheap materials that didn't work out so well. We delivered what our contract was and beyond. You wanted cheap, Finding a shower pan took over a week and we ended up putting in a customer shower pan we didn't even charge you for that would have been more money staying within your budget (Drain Placement wouldn't line up). We didn't charge you more for the invoice we just combined the Painting of your hallway with the balance of the shower build. Thank you, we are a newer company that can't find employees like most and what we learned from your job is never to take a job where the homeowner is cheaping out on materials. We have been doing business for over 3 yrs now and most of our work is word of mouth and repeat customers for new jobs.

All materials that were used were the materials that KRS recommended. Our only request was that KRS use vinyl wall tiles instead of ceramic. The only decision that we made was the color of the tile. Our original complaint was about the lack of professional work that KRS did in our bathroom. Examples are: The shower door frame was built improperly, which resulted in the shower door having an approximate 1 gap between the edge of the door and frame;A 1/4 gap was left where the wall and door frame meet the floor; The frame for the bathroom door was cracked when an extra s**** was run into the frame; The bathroom door edge was sanded to make the door fit. The door edge needs to be resealed. Also, the door does not close easily;KRS used the wall tiles to cover the shower floor. The tile manufacturer does not recommend this and has no written procedures for installing the tiles on a shower floor. The tiles will be very slippery when wet and creates a slip and fall hazard. Because of this, it must be replaced. We have yet to use our shower because of KRS mistake;KRS chose to ignored the tile manufacturers recommendations to use trim strips in the corners/edges where the tiles meet. They instead used silicone caulk to seal the corners/edges. In some places the caulk is over 1/2 wide. The quality of this work is amateurish and will have to be redone. KRS attempted to seal the areas were the tiles meet (not recommended by the manufacturer) and only filled some of the areas not all;The wall board, mud, and paint work were poorly done. Many rough and missed spots and wall board tape that is bubbling. Again, amateurish and unprofessional work;We have had two professional company representatives come to our house to advise us on what we should do with the mess that KRS left us. Both reps indicated that a permit was needed for the wall that KRS removed and rebuilt. This is something that a professional company would do for their customer or, at the very least, remind the customer to pull the permit; Both of these reps told us that the shower wall that KRS rebuilt would have to be torn down and rebuilt in order to correct the shower door frame problem that KRS caused. Note: the shower door KRS removed was square to the frame. The vinyl tiles on the shower floor will need to be replaced. The manufacturers trim strips will need to be installed, if possible.Pictures and a video of all of the above items are available for the BBB to review. All in all, the work KRS performed in our house was of very poor quality. We are extremely disappointed that we wasted over $5,000 just to find out that we have to have all of it redone because of this companys is incompetence. *** also took four weeks and a day to complete a job that should have taken one week. The main reason it took them so long is they never worked in our house for more than four hours a day, sometimes going days without showing up. This is the kind of company that gives other small companies a name. Too bad our state doesn't require licensing, so I could report them!
