I hired this company last August (2021) to replace my wood cedar shake shingles with *********************** cement board shingles. They claimed to be *********************** installing experts, and could accomplish year round. I gave them a down payment to proceed. They kept putting me off for months after numerous inquiry calls from me. The job was not started until April 2022, and was to take a couple weeks. Progress was very slow and intermittent, and workers changed often. There was no job *******, and multiple errors with installation, incorrect materials, and quality of work were a perpetual problem. The job was never completed after the owner was given repeated opportunities to correct existing issues. Two of his workers were at my home on June 8th and werent sure what to do to fix issues. They then called their boss and were told to take the nail gun compressor, and that a *********************** installation expert would be obtained. They left my property a junk yard with over 30 trash bags, various pieces of equipment, siding pieces all over, and roof ladders in place. I did not hear from them at all over the next 3 weeks. I had to clean up my yard per HOA restrictions or face violation and fines. At 4 weeks with no communication from ANY Source One representative, I knew I had been ghosted, and was completely done with their desultory work and customer service. I then consulted a lawyer who sent a certified letter notifying them of breach of contract, and I no longer wanted their services, and requested return of my down payment. I had to order new product, and obtained a new company. There has been no response to the certified letter.
