    Large building demolition 1 block from our house has resulted in foundation and wall plaster cracks and some small pieces that have fallen off the wall in our house. 2 years ago this house was inspected as part of our purchase and no mention was made of these new cracks. This house is 72 years old and the building inspector said that the house "was very well built and in better condition for the age of the structure than he expected". Our ***************** contracted with Donan for an inspection by a structural engineer of the demolition damage done to our house . He showed up on the date and time of the inspection told to us by the insurance company. He offered no ID, said he drove 400+ miles to be here, had to spend the night, and seemed not pleased about being here and the drive back. When I asked if he was a structural engineer he kind of dodged the question. He said he was an engineer and that he could do structural inspection. He took numerous pictures but gave no indication of his findings - even when I asked. In spite of a clean inspection report 2 years prior and numerous pictures taken by us that show before and after the cracks, he reported to the the ***************** that the cracks were due to "settling" --- after 70+ years our house suddenly "settled". This is BS. He seemed to know the ******************. We suspect he may have done business with them in the past or they are a current client of Donan. -- If so, that would be a Conflict of Interest and should be disclosed-- Or, he hopes to get business from them in the future for delivering a report that absolves them of blame. We are but one house of a few that have sustained damage on this block since they started the demolition. Worse yet, the demolition is ongoing and expected to last at least another year. We are suspicious of what is happening here and becoming disenchanted with "Flo"...

    Do a came out to my home to inspect my roof for damage from a wind and hail storm. Allstate sent out 2 other inspectors before Donan came to look at my home. The 2 other inspectors reported that I had some wind and hail damage, but not enough to replace my whole roof. My roofer did not agree with the report, so I called Allstate and complained and they agreed to sent out an engineer to look at my roof. In the engineers report, he stated that I had NO wind or hail damage and that the damage that was there was caused by human causes. I have NEVER been up on my roof, the only people who have been on my roof ever was the Allstate inspector or the Donan engineer and my roofer. Donan apparently has no idea what they are doing when inspecting roofs. The Engineers name is ***************************. Im just trying to put in a legitimate claim to get my roof fixed. I have never put in a claim on my home before in all the years I have owned a home and then when you need your insurance company for help and assistance, they try to s**** you. Both homes on either side of my home had total roof replacement from their insurance companies from the same wind and hail storm. This is totally ridiculous and Donan apparently has no idea what they are doing.
