      I paid for Extended warranty giving me an extra 36 months or 45,000 miles whichever comes first. I purchased and took car home on 2/26/25. NOT EVEN 90 DAYS LATER; 5/20/25 my car WONT START! I call extended warranty company with information was given at time of sale, without knowledge of them switching warranty companies I then have to contact Motorguard because apparently Precision is no longer working with Car City. Motorguard gives me the information I needed for closest preferred shop. I call Car City I speak with ****, **** gets me in contact with the "manager" *** of the Service department. *** calls me, tells me bring the car on in, this is Wednesday 5/21/25 and they would get it in and look at it more then likely would have it looked at before end of day. I call Thursday 5/22/25, Ben tells me its on the schedule to be looked at today and will have more information before end of day for me, he never called me back. I call again Today Friday 5/23/25 I get told, they still have zero information from me and the soonest they will look at it is going to be Tuesday the 28th now. *** refused to be of any assistance, could not tell me why I was told to bring it in on Wednesday and then told again Thursday would know but now its all weekend without a car because no techs in shop on Fridays, they aren't open saturdays and Mondays a holiday so best he can do was leave notes for his bosses to bring car into the open bay Tuesday morning. I ONLY BROUGHT IT TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE YOU SAID YOU WOULD HAVE ANSWERS BEFORE NOW.. I LEAVE OUT OF STATE ON WEDNESDAY THE 28th and NOW HAVE NO CAR!!! DO NOT GO HERE if you want nay work done on your cars, AVOID Ben in the service department at all cost he does not care especially if its an in warranty repair!

      Car city sold me a car for $13,000 that has a blue book value of 4,500…. Only had the car from October through the first week of December and was having issue with the vehicle a week after I drove off the lot. Orbit leasing and car city are in some type of agreement to over charge people for vehicles and make everyone pay 535 a month. I was told by orbit leasing that I should have read into the contract better or shouldn’t have agreed and I’m currently looking into taking car city and orbit leasing to court because this has cause several hardships in my life. I would never recommend for anyone to purchase a vehicle from this lot. They are scamming people out of their hard earned money for personal gain. and by the way Carcity and orbit leasing are located in the same building and they act as if they are two different companies to give customers the run around. They claim their office has been close since August so no one can actually come in and speak with a representative. They have also hung up on me as well after I told them I would like to speak with them with my lawyer. ORBIT LEASING IS NOT A LEGITIMATE BANK OR LEASING COMPANY. Will have my lawyer contacting them both.

      My name is **** I bought a 2015 Chevy Cruze on saturday 11/16 I spotted oil leaking out of my engine through the top so I went and got my gasket valve cover replaced at a shop nearby because car city in GR didn’t have a place open for me untill after the holidays but it was burning and leaking oil badly they won’t give me a loaner car I went there Friday 11/22 because that was the only time I could make it to Grand Rapids from work and they said I was past my 5 day 500 mile warranty to trade the vehicle back in for another one but they were closed Sunday I thought it was supposed to be 5 Business days I havnt even hit 500 miles yet I’m almost to the point I can’t even drive the vehicle I just want a different vehicle I have had problems with this since day 1 and couldn’t get ahold of them cuz it was Sunday then the bald guy at the comstock park location sent me to the service center that Friday and they were closed I don’t understand why all I’m getting is the run around this is getting out of control I just wanted to build my credit and this vehicle is the only vehicle I have and car city basically screwing me for 430 a month I havnt even had this vehicle 1 day without a problem I’ve had it for a total of 8 days now I’m tired of this:(

      If I could give a zero I would. I've bought 3 vehicles from Henry St in Muskegon, the last two I've had nothing but problems with after 30,000 miles. The F150 I bought 3 years ago blew up on me in March of 2022. They did right and got me into a different vehicle. The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado i currently have is doing some of the same things as the F150 did and I'm still fighting to get it running like it's supposed to. Been in contact with the dealership in Battle Creek trying to get a different vehicle, Brandon the manager at this location is doing what he can to try and get me into a different vehicle but has to wait for the higher ups in Grand Rapids to ok it. I spend 3/4 of each paycheck trying to fix this truck. I'm at the point where I WILL NOT refer any of my friends to go thru Car City ever

      My 2016 Journey has been in the shop more times than I could pay a car note. This will be the 4th time Ive put it in a shop for the same thing. It keeps overheating. Ive had my hoses replaced, thermostat, coolant tank, and many more components of my engine replaced. I have reached out to the warranty manager 2 times and have not heard anything back just yet. My car is currently in a shop as we speak, and i have to pay the note this week. I cant afford to keep paying deductibles because these shops cant properly diagnose or once a part is replaced, some other damage happens. How do you expect me to pay a deductible when Im having to call off of work??? Ive only had it for 2 months!! This is ridiculous and Im not getting any help or answers. Im missing out on work because of this issue. I should be offered some kind of courtesy vehicle for the inconvenience. This problem alone falls under the lemon law. Ive had it in the shop way too many times for the same reason and it keeps happening. I will seek an attorney if I dont get the proper resolutions! This is so unfair to me and my children.

      f I could rate a zero. I WOULD! 2/26/24 I WAS BROUGHT A 2015 NISSAN QUEST FROM CADILAC MI, since getting this vehilce I had to bring it back shortly after leaving the lot due to exhaust leaks four times before it was welded and JB WELDED as fix the jb is ALRDY GIVING OUT!!!! On top of that the motor or transmission IS TICKING!!!!! Mind you I barely drive this thing as I stay where I work! Since getting it i haven't even put 2k miles on it. I told this place when the exhaust leak took place, I didnt want it they refused to let me return or replace this piece of shit they sold me! I wish I could say they made it right but the issues further get worse. I now have to pay for a van I WONT BE ABLE TO USE SOON! As a single working parent this is HEARTBREAKING!!!! Unless made right I will never recommend nor ever use this place again. EVER!

      I purchased a vehicle through Car City on the 4th of December, and it was delivered the 12th. Upon the first drive, it wasn't shifting properly, and the check engine light came on. I took it in to a shop and it needs $700+ worth of repairs. The warranty company agreed to pay for the repairs since its before the 30 day ***** Upon driving, was pulled over and the "proof" Car City gave me in that event weren't considered sufficient, and my vehicle was almost impounded. I had to BEG the officer not to take the vehicle as its my only transport for my son who is currently fighting stage 4 cancer. He let me take it home but said he'd be watching the area closely and if I drove it again before I had the physical registration or title, it will be impounded. Mind you, the sales manager advised me that the proof they sent me via email was sufficient to drive with until i received the registration and title. I was ticketed. I called them and all I was told was to basically argue with the officer next time because it typically works and is legal. I contacted SOS and they too said I needed a temporary plate and registration until mine was transferred. I am not longer comfortable doing business with a company that does all of this without any help or warning, but am told I cannot return it. I have decided to consult with a lawyer because this cannot be right.

      I got a car through car city and I found out that I'm getting ripped off through them I found out that the car is worth about **** so if you get a car through car city watch out there nothing but a rip off

      One thing I realized with CarCity is they have helped me in my time of needing a vehicle. I couldn’t afford other dealers’ down payment. I couldn’t get it anyway due to my credit score and no co-signor. So honestly I’m thankful. But will say at first I was disappointed in my vehicle because I needed a transmission a month after I bought it. However CarCity and precision claims took care of it after I found a shop that would do it. Also they were able to help with a courtesy vehicle I just didn’t call them back to go get it cuz a friend allowed me to use their car til mine was done. THANK YOU CarCity, Orbit Leasing and precision Claims!
