In June 2023, I purchased a new 2023 ****** Camry Hybrid SXE for about $41,500.00. Gentex Corporation partnered with ****** Corporation to provide a service as an upgrade to my new vehicle called HOMELINK. They made a promise that I could use their HOMELINK system and program it to any garage door opener system and I would be able to push a button within my vehicle to open my garage door. After several weeks of trying to pair my Genie garage door opener to my car's HOMELINK system, I was told to purchase a different garage door opener that was supposed to be compatible with HOMELINK. After a dozen attempts over two months and purchasing several garage door remote openers, the HOMELINK system did not work as advertised. HOMELINK was NOT helpful and I had to purchase an entirely new Genie garage door opener system to include a new software circuit, motor, drivescrew, springs, doors, parts, etc. plus installation costing over a thousand dollars and about thirty hours of work on my part. There was nothing wrong with my garage door opener system that was still fairly new but was not compatible with HOMELINK as advertised.

On Apirl 29th I purchased Ops-Core ARC rails FAST ******* for $157.95/ $182.95 after tax via paypal. Within moments of purchase, I received confirmation email from both Gentex Corp and Paypal that payment was recieved and given order number *****. Prior to purchased, I was informed that there may be a delay in product due to availability. On May 5th, I recieved an email from Gentex stating my order had shipped. I was given tracking information and on May 12th, the package arrived. However, inside the package was an incorrect product from what i had purchased. I was sent ear plugs instead of the helmet rails I paid for. The package paperwork is for my rails order and signed for by the ***************** from Gentex. The paperwork matched the email, that matches the website, that matches what I ordered, but the physical item is incorrect. I contacted Gentex, Ops-core (a sub company of Gentex) via their website several times with no response. I reached out to their ******** on May 21st, and received a email back on May 23rd from their customer support. In the email, he claimed email issues within the company was the reason for the delay and hed get the purchased product out to me. I received nothing from him or Gentex until i reached out again on June 5th requesting an update. He responded on June 6th that he would check with shipping. He has been ignoring my emails since. I still have all the emails, messages and paperwork backing my position.
