    Austin arrived to service our AC at $49 trip charge and $120//hr.. We were getting cool air yet not cold air. It was determined "A" coil was frozen and they would need to need to let coil thaw and would need to reschedule. We asked if they could stay, turn on heat (to facilitate thaw process) at $110/hr. They agreed if we are willing to buy a tuneup at $349. We agreed as temp was in 90s. "A" coil was thawed in 20 minutes (they said it would take hours). ****** revealed failing capacitor. They stated capacitor will cost $300. We agreed to have them replace to get unit up and running. Upon replacement, they said refrigerant was 2lbs low. What will it cost to add? $1,200. Response was NO. Then they said we could buy new unit (our AC is 16yrs of age), for $5,000 approximate. Again NO. They were at ou home for 2.5hrs. As of now, we are still without cold air and $800+ less money in our account.This is was our experience with Austim Heating Cooling.
