    We have used Ace Solid Waste as our garbage hauler for the last 8 months. Twice during this time they failed to pick up our garbage. The most recent time was intentional as we were informed the driver felt it was not safe to go down our dead end street. I was notified by phone that our account was terminated with no notice. There are ~20 houses on our street that are serviced by garbage companies, not sure why ***'s drivers can't handle it. Very disappointed with my experience with this company.

    We apologize for the delay in notifying you of the service concern reported by our driver. Safety is our number one company value, and it was noted by our driver that there is not a safe turnaround for our truck when servicing your street, therefore we are not able to provide service for you or any other homes on this street. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused you.

    We pay for yard waste removal ($200.00), last year they stopped picking up yard waste bags and only pick up yard waste from the bins they provide. On 6/17/2024 they did not pick up the yard waste bin due to excessive rain in the area? I called to ask if I could put out yard waste bags in lieu of not getting service on 6/17/2024, they refused to pick up any bags and said that all waste must be in the bin. This is leaving us with excess yard waste due to the rain in the area and nowhere to dispose of it. Customer service is lip service at best. Solution was to credit our account for the week missed, this does not satisfy our contract or provide a solution to our already full bin with more yard waste for the following week. Will be looking for a new service that actually provides customer service and honors their current contract with customer.

    We pay $200.00 annually for yard waste removal. The past three years, they send out letters stating that due to staffing shortages they will not pick up loose bags in the fall. They also claim that picking up extra bags is a courtesy service, and there will be no credits issued. However as stated, we PAY for this service in the amount of $200.00. Then they tell me to take the bags to the local compost myself. BAD BUSINESS

    Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Notification was sent in Feb. 2023 that this year additional bags of yard waste would only be taken as staffing allows. Due to current staffing shortages we have not been able to take the yard waste bags, we can only service the carts. We do apologize for any inconvenience and frustration these shortages have caused.

    Up until now I was pleased with my service. I paid big money for yard waste. The contract says up to 8? bags. Right when we need it the most, you bail on us. Find a way. Or I will have to bail on you.

    I pay for annual yard waste. They say they will take 15 extra bags during fall, but they change that with no warning, just leave them on your curb to store for next week. And now two weeks in a row they haven't picked up any. No apologies, no explainations, no communication. When I called them they suggested I should just haul them to compost site myself. What's the point of their service then?

    We apologize for the issue with collecting the additional yard waste bags. Please place as many bags that will fit in the yard waste cart for service, as we have been and are able to empty the yard waste cart. Any bags that will not fit, we will get those collected by the end of the yard waste season.
