This merchant runs a business that helps moving seniors move by selling there household items at a home and on-line auction. I purchased an item on-line for $104.84 on May 23 2024, using my **** card. When my credit card bill came, I did not recognize the charge, so I filed a "challenge" with my card company. A week or so later the, the business owner, ****** ******* called me. I was able to recognize the transaction. She asked for me to pay her via Venmo, and include a $5.00 service fee, which I did. I was surprised to learn, about 2 months later, that the credit card company denied my challenge and reinstated the charge on my account. I have now paid for the item twice, plus a$5.00 fee. I have communicated many times with Ms ******* she refuses to agree that she has been paid twice even though I have supplied her with my credit card statement, and the fact that she also received a Venmo payment from me.
