    We bought a new Carrier Furnace from SCR a couple years ago. -On September 16th, 2024 the furnace quit working. A service technician came out on Sept 20th. He came in and went directly to the control panel on our wall and said panel says your motor is bad. He went to the furnace room and shut off everything so it wouldnt TRY to start. Charged us for 2 hours labor ..$234.-Got a call later from SCR saying the motor is covered under warranty but the labor is not. They ordered a new motor from Carrier. Told us it was back ordered and would be about 30 days.-A call later from SCR said it might be another couple weeks because Carrier had a warehouse fire. -I told SCR at that time Id wait till the repair was completed before I would write my review of Carrier and SCR. Seemed awful to us they would leave us hanging for over a month. We used our kitchen over to keep us heated the best we could. -October 24, a service technician came to install the new motor. Invoice says it took him 1 1/4 hours. Charge was $403.75. - $637.75 for carrier/SCR warranty work. -As you can guess, we will never do business with SCR again. Letting a customer hang without a furnace for over a month is NOT Customer Appreciation.
