I purchased a car from mills Honda in ****** on august 13th, and since then there has been nothing but problems. I called the business a few weeks after my purchase to ask why my title, tabs, and Loan information hadnt arrived in the mail, and was told that the employee would find out and get back to me. I called a few days later because I had never been called, to be told to call the bank my loan was through. Which I did, come to find my loan didnt exist with the bank. I called mills Honda back and only then was I told that there was a mistake on my contract of the purchase and they need to send me a new one. It took them weeks to send it to me, not until around the beginning of October. Now, on November 18th, my loan has gone through and Im able to make payments, but the title to the car is not in my name nor did I receive tabs for 2025 as I was told I would. I only found out the title wasnt in my name when I went to the *** to try and purchase them myself. Throughout this entire process the communication from the business was spotty and minimal. It would consist of me calling them and being told they would get back to me the same day or the next morning, but then I wouldnt hear from them for days unless I called them first. This was my first big purchase that was meant to be a good thing and it has led to months of anxiety, stress, and frustration. Though I have both contracts, the original on august 13th and the revised one (that they did NOT make a new date for but the letter for my loan was sent from November 9th and mills Honda received the revised contract mid October). I am not sure what can be done by the better business bureau, all I want is the title to the car I purchased and for it to be known that this business doesnt not take its sales nor service seriously. I purchased this car in August and even today I am still experiencing problems. I am not sure if I able able to seek legal action but I would like more information how to move forward.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/27/2024

We are in receipt of Ms. ********** complaint and we sincerely apologize for the delays in her getting her title and vehicle plates due to several factors. One factor was that Ms. ********** title app required being re-completed and re-submitted to the State of MN, as we had not yet received the Lien release on the pre-owned vehicle she was buying.

Ms. ********** vehicle plates were mailed to her on 21 November 2024.

On 22 November 2024, Ms. ******** reached out to our corporate Accounting Supervisor ******** *********.

Ms. ********* let Ms. ******** know that her plates had arrived to us the day before, and that she would be receiving her vehicle plates soon.

We asked Ms. ********* about Ms. ********** title and when she may expect to receive it. Ms. ********* stated that she checked with the State of MN.

The State of MN indicated that they have received Ms. ********** title, and that they are about 3 weeks behind in processing titles. Ms. ******** should expect to receive her title in the mail in approximately 3 weeks.

We again apologize to Ms. ******** and also to you for the delay in the process in getting Ms. ******** her vehicle plates and title in a timely manner.

We are hopeful that Ms. ******** is satisfied with these responses.  Thank you!
