      Contacted finance department re: getting a refund on gap insurance and service plan due to selling of vehicle. We went there in person to speak to someone in finance 4-6 weeks ago but they were too busy. We left our contact info but never got a call back. I have left at least 2 more messages with no return call. We were originally told that it may take a month to get our refund, but no refund or call back has been received.

      Our Finance Manager, ***********************, spoke to *************************** several times over the last 4-6 weeks. ********* shared with *** that her husband would be taking over the loan for her vehicle. On June 5th, ********* asked *** about her vehicle warranty and transferring it to her husband. *** explained the benefits of the warranty, and provided ********* with the number for ***** as *** cannot transfer vehicle warranties and that **** would require processing the warranty transfer on her vehicle. At that time, *** does not recall that ********* asked her about *** cancellation, she only mentioned the warranty at that time per ***. Today in follow up, *** cancelled the *** policy and requested a refund to be processed for ********* by our ********************* in the amount of $818.54. *** also called **** to check on the status of the Warranty transfer. **** informed *** that ********* cancelled her vehicle warranty on June 11th, and that they/**** processed the refund for ********* as a transfer to us at Mills Motor on June 12th in the amount of $3,692.56. *** was not aware of this, as he did not receive an email or any notification from **** that they had issued this refund. *** processed a 2nd refund request today to our ********************* in the amount of $3.,692.56 for *********. These 2 refund checks will be sent to ******** via ***** as soon as our ********************* processes them. Our Company CDK software system is experiencing a critical Nationwide outage due to a cyber incident, and we do not know when we will be able to process these refund checks due to this. Please be assured that as soon as CDK restores its customers, we will get these refund checks processed right away and sent via ***** to *********. We apologize for any miscommunication and for the delay in ********* receiving the information and refunds she wanted, and we will do our best to remedy this situation as soon as possible. Thank you!
