On October 9, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business acted or held itself out as a residential building contractor, residential remodeler, or residential roofer in the state of Minnesota without being licensed by the Commissioner, in violation of Minn. Stat. § 326B.805, subds. 1 and 3 (2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to cease and desist from acting or claiming to be a residential building contractor, remodeler or roofer in Minnesota until properly licensed and to cease and desist from claiming they are 'approved' or 'vetted' or have any endorsement from DLI. The business was assessed a $5,000.00 fine, with the full balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
