    Date of first visit: Dec 26, 2024. We called about not getting hot water, only lukewarm water, and the first ******* that came out said it was not the water heater and proceeded to change a cartridge in our master shower and charged us $800 for it. He also broke the handle of the shower, reversed the hot and cold directions, and did not tell us it broke.The problem persisted and we continued to have lukewarm water. I called the company and they sent another guy out and he didn't know what the problem was either. I called Erickson and they asked if they could make it right. I made it clear that I will not pay another dime and I expected money back if it ended up being an issue that would have cost me less than $800. They verbally agreed over the phone. They agreed they had misidentified the issue and it was on them to fix it. Erickson sent out a THIRD ******* and he looked at our water heater, said it was a pipe that needed cleaned out, cleaned it out and the problem was fixed.Afterwards I called to settle with them and see what they could refund me since it was an easy fix.They refused to refund any of the $800 saying they had spent a lot of time on the issue and going back on their word to make it right with me. It should absolutely not be on my dime if they couldn't figure out the problem until the third try and they also absolutely took me for a ride charging me $800 to begin with. I worked with them on good faith to fix the problem expecting them to make it right with me in the end since they were at fault for misidentifying the issue, not fixing it, charging me $800 for not fixing it, and breaking my handle at that. They should have only charged me for what it would have cost to fix the issue if they had not misidentified it to begin with.

    We have contacted the customer in an attempt to resolve her complaint but have not yet heard back. We'd like to get it resolve as soon as possible but believe a phone conversation is necessary to do so.
