    Never filed a complaint in 25 years of home ownership. i had floor sanding scheduled with ****'s floor sanding (******, **). I had spoken many times to **** about an aspect of the project. I wanted an in-lay between the bathroom and floors. I sent him pictures and he confirmed by email/phone that ****** would take a look at it. They would send out a ********* to fix this transition. When i scheduled the work, I reminded them that a ********* would need to come out (as they recommended) before we sand the floor. When the first ******************* showed up, i explained the issue and he said he would relay my concerns. When they did the final coat, they simply put an square piece of wood on top instead of cutting out the wood and installing an in-lay. When i called to ask, "what's up and where's my promised in-lay..." i got the usually run around that they didn't agree 'in writing' in spite of me having the emails to prove that they did. Then I said i wanted to think about how to fix (they offered a solution with additional charges) and I would call back on monday to pay after i made my decision (it was thursday before a holiday). They charged my card without my authorization. When I called back, ********************* up on me twice. He said that he told me he was going to run the card (a lie as I would not have agreed with the project not finished) and he does not have the authority to run my car w/o my approval. He then said if i didn't pay immediately, they would take out a lien against my house and foreclose on my home (apparently ****** didn't go to law school and doesn't know the difference between a foreclosure and a judgement). I always pay my bills, have a credit score of 840 but his rudeness was totally unnecessary. I asked him who his boss was and he stated, "who do you think?" I wouldn't waste time with this business and there are many other contractors who i are more honorable I am sure. Obviously they are not men of their word. Very very disappointed.
