    I am writing to express my disappointment with the bait and switch pricing practices of Discount Filters. I've made multiple purchases from them in the past, but this is the first time I've experienced this issue. I recently attempted to purchase an item from their website, and when I went to check out, the price on the confirmation screen was double the price that was listed on the product page. I emailed the company with screenshots of the issue, and they responded by telling me that the higher price was the actual price of the item. I called the company and spoke with a representative named ******, who confirmed that they would not honor the price in the cart.I find this practice to be deceptive and unethical. The company is clearly trying to lure customers in with a low price, only to switch it up at the last minute. This is a form of bait and switch, which is illegal in many jurisdictions. I am disappointed that a company would stoop to such tactics in order to make a sale.I would urge other consumers to be aware of this company's deceptive practices and to avoid doing business with them. There are many other reputable companies that offer the same products without resorting to bait and switch tactics.I would also like to recommend that the company change its pricing practices. They should either honor the price in the cart, or they should clearly state the actual price of the item on the product page. This would be more honest and transparent, and it would build trust with customers.I hope that the company will take my feedback into consideration and make some changes to their pricing practices.

    I ordered a pack of three water filters from them. 2 of the water filters did not work. The filters smelled of chemicals and after using the one that did work for several months I replaced it. I came to find out once it was removed that it had been leaking some type of blue dye into the water! The filter had blue coloring on water around it and labeling on the outside of the filter had faded completely. I can not believe that I've been drinking this! I will be ordering from the filter company directly, I do not recommend using this off brand product. It is a risk and liability I can not believe that they are legally operating, they are liable to be sued and I am surprised they have not been shut down based off of what I saw on my filter today.
