I adopted with NDLB 4 years ago; my sweet boy Mac. Impressed with the thorough background check, virtual home visit (so easy), and their team was so great in answering all of my questions. I loved my experience so much I now volunteer as an adoption coordinator and ****** with ***** :-)

I adopted my shepherd mix puppy from No Dog Left Behind. The process was thorough, easy and efficient. The fosters were amazing and had great experience taking care of puppies. They did a great job preparing our puppy to be successful in his future home. I am very thankful for this rescue.

We adopted our dog *****, formerly Jalo almost 2 years ago. He was a breeder release and between 9-10 years old. His ****** did a wonderful job with him and we were so happy to add him to our family. He was skittish at first, but with time and patience he has turned into an amazing loving dog. He sleeps in bed with me now, curled up beside me. Hes starting to get cataracts which is just a sign hes aging just like me. I will love and cherish every moment I have with him. And when he takes his last breath I will be there holding him and loving him. Thats how it should be with all dogs. They all deserve a loving family. If youre thinking about adding to your family, this rescue is wonderful. Dont hesitate to get your next baby from them.

We adopted one puppy from ****- and had a great experience with the ****** and adoption coordinator. Four months later we decided to adopt a second puppy from ****- another great experience! Was very impressed with the vetting of the pups, and the adoption process was smooth and easy. Ive confidently recommended **** to others.

I have been able to adopt two dogs from **** over the last few years. Both times have been very easy experiences and I felt confident in the decision I made, having all questions answered timely and openly.

We have two dogs from this rescue. One was a puppy from ********, and a few years later we adopted a 6 yr old puppy mill momma. **** made sure both animals were spayed and vetted before being available to adopt. This even involved teeth extraction, etc. All volunteers were professional and clearly cared for these dogs and made sure our family and home were a good fit. Highly recommend!

Ive adopted 2 dogs from the organization and fully plan to adopt more in my lifetime from them. They always put the dogs first and make sure you get the right fit. I was treated with kindness with both adoptions. I would give them more stars if I could

This group does NOT want fosters to be honest with applicants. Please see reviews below that will fully support what I experienced. As a ******, I can say my personal experience was **** wanted to get the dog adopted ASAP. I was criticized by this organization for being honest with applicants about my fosters traits (frequent urinating that would perhaps require extensive house training and/or wearing a diaper) No Do Left Behind is a first come first serve rescue. That means that they are not truly interested in finding the best home, the best adopter, or the best life for their dogs. It means that their first applicant gets the dog regardless of whether that applicant is a good fit. And so much worse than that, another ****** mom with **** confided in me that she witnessed a dog being hit by one of the **** volunteers-whose name I have. Its sad and disappointing that a group who claims to want the best for dogs doesnt have their dogs best interests at heart.

I am sorry to say that our experience with NDLB was not a great one. - The dog was not accurately represented by the organization. (They said he was "cat safe", but he tried to kill our cat. They said he was "low key & relaxed", but he was the most high energy dog we've ever cared for and he was aggressive during play, leaving all of us with bruises, scratches and bite marks.) - **************** is unclear about who their staff is and how to communicate with them. We had a very hard time getting ahold of people to help us and they were reluctant to give us any information or clear answers to our questions. Their responses lacked sensitivity and professionalism. We had to track them down and create a paper trail with direct questions that required clear answers to ensure that the dog was getting returned and that we would get our money back. - We believe they are not properly vetting animals, volunteers, or adoptive families. The previous ****** told us she didn't even officially ****** through NDLB, that she was "just helping out a friend." And we discovered that the organization didn't call either of our references before adopting the dog to us. This is a safety risk for everyone! - We found out through the Attorney General that is has been 2 years since they filed for their 501c3 status. I don't want this organization to get shut down, but considering these are some of the highest adoption fees in the area, we believe they should be better vetting ***************** and providing some training for their key volunteers to learn how to communicate with people professionally. They are not doing their due diligence. This was an extremely stressful experience and we for sure would not work with NDLB again.
