    OK so about June or May 2023 I had dropped off a collectors piece of mine to be serviced by Pilgrim dry cleaners. I wasnt told to sign any waivers for damages or destruction of property and I was I went about my way. Thinking that my jacket would be done in a few business day turned out to be about three weeks and I ended up having to follow up and call them and ask what was the progress on my jacket and there was a store clerk that had answered the phone and I told me that oh my manager didnt reach out to you yet we had had some complications with the jackets and there were some damages that occurred. At this point, I was completely frustrated and confused as to why management didnt reach out to me, but from that point on this whole debacle took about another 6 to 8 months to figure out due to lack of communication on their side they had tried to fix the item, but it wasnt the standards that I needed it to be because this was a collectors piece, and they wanted to modify in a way that it would look somewhat fraudulent so I asked if there was another compromise and they decided to compromise by giving me a third of the jackets price and my jacket back when I had countered with at least half of the jackets price and the jacket. I had discussed with the owner of the store and told him that if we couldnt come to a compromise I would be coming to the Better Business Bureau and at this point he had told me that OK if you want to take it to this level your jacket will be available for pick up, but I am receiving the money offer. All accountability after several months of them towing with my jacket and my time still dont have a fixed jacket and I still dont have my jacket.

    We have attempted to work with the customer but they keep changing the value they want from ********* They gave us a north face jacket that had seen its better days.  According to the customer he collects and resells items like this.  When cleaned, the american flag on the back started to peel because of the age of the jacket.  We found a replacement flag and ordered it to stictch on and replace the old flag.  At first the customer was satisfied but still wanted some sort of compensation ($1200) because it wasn't the original flag that was on there.  We explained that not all garments are meant to last forever so wear and tear is normal with aging.  We then tried to agree on a price and were unable to.  He wanted us to pay well over market value because it was a collectors item to him and he also wanted the jacket back so he could sell it for a profit.  The last we heard from him he wanted $750.  We told him we would offer him $350 cash, free replacement of the american flag, and his jacket back even though the wear and tear because of the age of the jacket was not our fault.  That is when he said he was just going to hand it over to his attorney and sue ********* He still has not come in to pickup his jacket.  There is nothing else we can do to assist at this time.
