      We dropped off a piece of equipment over three months ago, to ********'s Plus in **********. We asked them to examine the machine to see why it wouldn't run and then let us know what solutions they had. As the months progressed we heard little to no information from them. When we would call they would say something about parts being or order or make up an excuse as to why we hadn't heard from them. Fast forward to this week, they emailed us and said its been repaired and sent us a bill for 12k! We paid **** for this machine, and its ********************************************************* run any repairs by us, even though we called repeatedly. There is no way we would have agreed to the repairs or anything even close to this figure. We would sold the machine for parts to someone. Its not even worth half that cost. We have not paid them yet, but are not willing to pay this kind of astronomical amount for repairs we did not authorize and were never given an estimate for.

      Trenchers Plus is very sorry this complaint has been turned in to you.
      We can assure you a program has been instilled as a standard operating procedure to assure this type of complaint will not happen again. We have moving forward , install a automated customer response program, that will get the customers authorization to move forward with any additional repairs.

      This Case Maxi Sneaker B series, was brought in by ***** and not working and we agreed at that time, to repair this unit.  Trenchers Plus found that starter was bad and requested permission to repair it. Customer also agreed to perform oil and filter change and all hydraulic oil and filters. Upon servicing machine, we found fuel pump gasket leaking, Oil pan with small crack, which involves taking apart a lot of the machine. Once apart, we noticed most of the hydraulic hoses where damaged and needed replacing. We replaced them and reassembled the machine. This older model machine is very hard to get parts for, and took longer them we thought due to the long wait times.

      As you can see, Trenchers Plus is a A+ BBB rated company, and we are very willing and committed to work with ********************* in resolving this dispute.
