    Per the website, the camera was to record with a red dot (when turned on). When contacted the customer service team knew the red dot functionality did not work. This behavior seems like false advertising. The Tactacam team could not confirm when the functionality would work NOR did they offer to extend the 30 day money back guarantee; so I returned the camera. I havent received the refund yet. The return policy is consumer pays for shipping so I absorbed the cost of shipping twice (to and return) and we shall see about the sales tax refund. Bottom line is the company cost me ~$40 for buying a product that doesnt perform as advertised AND Tactacam knows the product doesnt perform as advertised.

    Don't buy Tactacam! I just bought one, the zoom is not working properly, and I cant get any help at all. Horrible customer service. -****

    Within a month of activating my monthly subscription payment; my credit card was being fraudulently used at Midway USA based in *********. Tactacam is based in *********. $754

    I have been on hold for over 45 minutes waiting for someone to fix the double billing on my credit card. As someone who is working Monday through Friday, I can't call or get a re-call any time I want. No one should have to wait that long. I never did get someone to take my call.In addition, I have called on technical support and I get the same inexcusable long wait.

Because of the wait times experienced last season we have increased staffing, extended our operating hours & streamlined our internal processes to better serve our customers.

    Hands down has to be the worst customer service in the world. If you send them a email expect a response sometime before the next hunting season. Changing all my cameras over to Wildgame innovation. Good luck!

    My Tacticam Reveal X stopped working within the 1 year warranty period and after calling ************************* all i can do is leave a message. They never call me back and after 4 emails i just gave up! Ive purchased 5 cameras and put new batteries and new SD Tacticam card but the camera wont send pictures or take the!

We've reduced that response time dramatically this year & are continuing to evolve to meet our customer's needs.     My complaint is similar to others - cameras and their cellular services (SIM Cards) that have been activated (required to set up the cameras) and do not function. Once you activate the cameras / SIM cards, the (in my case) yearly subscription starts. In other words, the clock is ticking with non-functioning cellular cameras / SIM ********* cards. I am out more than $200 (not including the cost of the cameras) for cellular service / SIM cards. Surprisingly, this is not the worse part. The worst part is Tectacam has made it impossible to remove my CC information from my account on their website, which I had to do to put these cameras into service. I have generated two separate HELP requests but no response. I have no reason Tactacam even has a ********************** Since I cannot remove my CC info from their website, I must now cancel my CC. Those retailers that sell this product, such as Bass Pro and Cabelas are no better that Tactacam.

    We understand that every second matters to our ************** does look like it took the agents more than a day to resolve your issue last year. We are so sorry that the delay prompted you to dispute the loss time & file a complaint. You are correct, we were not prepared for how much business would happen entering the trail cam business. Since last year, we have created a customer service team who is local & use the products themselves, as well as transitioned to having our ****************** teams in-house. It does appear that your issues were already resolved & that you were fully refunded your money prior to the posting date of your review.     These cameras are extremely frustrating! They will send pictures with every change of temp, every movement of tree or grass yet miss animals completely. I suspect its trigger speed, doesn't seem to matter what setting for motion although if you set it to low you get nothing. over half the time it wont send the requested videos and often doesn't send the check in picture. Suddenly going through batteries like crazy. I bought two of these on my birthday and paid for a one year service for 2 cameras. one camera hasn't been operational for even a month and I'm 6 months into them. I sent it back and they sent a replacement...tried to activate it to work but it wouldn't. Finally activated it as a new camera and they charged me for a 3rd camera on 1 year service. I tried calling and emailing and got calls back hours later while I was on other jobs...emails were fairly cryptic and didn't make sense. I'm really tired of babysitting these...the pictures are great when you can get one but its a struggle. I have other cameras in the same area that capture much more animal movement but the pictures aren't as good.I've tried to get my money back on the units to no avail....very disappointed in my experience

    Hello, so sorry to hear about your concerns. I do see several agent ***************** appears like the majority of your questions & concerns over the last 18 months were addressed & resolved. I do see most recently this year there is a camera you needed to travel to pick ** in order to send in for repair. When you have the opportunity to grab it, we are happy to assist!
