I hired Mr. *********************** a year ago, to put in a new boiler heating system and to repair existing leaky pipes. A little more than a month ago I noticed there is still a leak. I now have antifreeze leaking in my basement, causing ************** I have tried for a month to get somebody to come out and fix this problem. They will not answer their phone and they will not return my calls. My husband and myself have left several messages to no avail. I have now hired a different company to come fix the problem. Unfortunately, I won't have the warranty that I would have had with Mr. ********************* I would like Mr. ********************** to cover the upcoming cost that would have been under warranty with them.

Customer Purchased a home that had been foreclosed on. The boiler was bad. We had given a quote to customer to replace the boiler, as an empire unit.  Once we got boiler up and running, it came to our attention that pipes surrounding the boiler must have been frozen and burst previous to the install. We replaced and secured any damaged to the pipes that we could see and did not charge the customer any additional cost to do so.  We Also had explained to the customer that we could NOT see the pipes further behind  the areas covered with sheet rock, so there may be further damage to the pipes that had been frozen.  Customer understood, that would be their responsibility to have them checked. Nearly a year and a half later, the customer calls with complaint of a leak. we sent a tech out to check, and the leak that they had reported was no where near the boiler, the new pipes or fittings that we had replaced.  We told customer again, that we had warned of further leaks because of previous frozen pipes. Did they follow up with a plumber to check damaged pipes in the 1.5 years? No. Sorry, but our install was not the issue here.
