8/22/2022 *************************** came out and told us he was the owner and that he was part of ****'s Flooring. So I thought it would be a good company to have damage from a water leak fixed. The insurance was paying for the hall and the bedroom including the subfloor. So with the DEAL we thought we were getting, we had the living room and the kitchen done as well. We put $5500 down and still had a balance of $5200 to pay when complete. The people they hired to come and do the floors 1. did not speak English and hard to communicate when the person who said they would be here were not here at all. 2. We still have lumps and bumps and the subfloor had to be redone because it was not done correctly. When I tried contacting them, I got no response. The subfloor was done by just putting a couple of 2x4s from our shed in, rather than the plywood that was purchased. Which they took back with them. 3. They damaged personal property in the amount of $300 and promised to replace and to bring us a gift card for a steak dinner. I was lucky because I was able to get a friend who is a contractor come and redo the subfloor at no added cost. But I did give him and his wife a $100 gift certificate for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I also found out that the men who were here were not licensed and so that explains the shoddy workmanship. They were supposed to leave items here and took them with them. I have posted a review on ****** as well. I do not want anyone to be taken in by them like I was when I was in a place I needed to have the work done.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I tried calling many times after the work was done and texting with no response. At this time, you cannot correct the problem as I had to have LICENSED contractor come in and re-do the subfloor which was not done correctly as they used our 2 x 4's and not plywood and so even when I told you when you came back that there was still the lump in the floor you did nothing to correct it. I have also advised my friends and family to not use this company and I posted a review on ****** along with the other complaints you have had. I want the money to replace the towels that were ruined and the plywood that was taken back that we paid for. This is not doing good business and you need to be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of someone who is sick and disabled.Initial Complaint

We had a new floor put in our downstairs bathroom on October 2l, 2022. The salesman seemed very professional and they were flexible with our bathroom install (we put $600 down in payment). The area to be done was not a big job. When I checked on the installer when he was about done on the completion day, I discovered several obvious flooring errors in the bathroom (flooring obviously not to the baseboard in the closet, a large hole around the baseboard heating pipe in the main floor, much patching and some disjoining of floor around the toilet, partial caulking of floor under the vanity, many glue remnants on floor). Besides this, they did not speak any English (they had to translate through their supervisor). When I was there, he was able to correct many of the errors. I did not mention the toilet flooring errors because they would have to redo the whole toilet area at the ******** had to clean up much of the glue afterward myself. They were not professionals. One of the owners came and picked up the check for the rest of the money ($903.08) after the completion. I asked him about the flooring not coming quite together in the bathroom floor around the toilet and he said it should be fine, "It's waterproof you know." After he left, I called and asked him to send me a receipt for the total payment we had already made for the bathroom flooring ($1,503.08) and warranty information (it's supposed to be 30 years warranty) and he said, " I suppose I could come up with something". Later, I called again, after two weeks hearing nothing. Afterwards, weeks later, he would not answer emails, phone calls, or any of my messages to request this same information. Their business main phone number is now disconnected also. I am sorry to say that they are very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.The receipt that I really wanted was for the total amount that we already paid for the flooring costs of $1,503.08 (not a copy of the work order). Just for it to be official that it was already been paid. It would be beneficial to have a paid receipt I still would like more written information about the warrenty on the floor! I talked to the labor supervisor yesterday, 11/15/22, on the phone and told him what happened with the flooring in the bathroom. A patchy job was done on the flooring around the toilet, but I decided to leave it for now and see if there are problems of water seeping in the flooring, etc. later, in which time I would call him and let him know, so they would come out and correct the flooring around the toilet. At this time I decided to wait to see how the flooring holds up with time, because I didn't want the work crew to come out immediately and repair the floor and the floor around the toilet would be repaired worse instead. Mostly, the rest of the flooring seems to be fine for now. Thank you for your prompt reply.

I signed a contract to have Floored remove old floor covering and install new vinyl planking flooring. Signed the contract on Aug 24, 2021. Worked started in late Sept. The installer was not a licensed contractor. Did shoddy work. Tried to get them to come back and do fixes. All I get is a run around or sarcastic remarks. Last contact with ***************************, he said he was not even in the area anymore and referred me to the original(non-licensed)installer, *********************. (****** had told me earlier that he had fired ****.) I should have been known better when ****** asked for all money before job was done. Also, I found this company on *****'s List. I thought this company would be reputable. I have given them every chance to the right thing. No luck. I paid $9764 for a bad job! According to the contract, there is a 15 yr. install warranty. That doesn't seem to matter to them. Floor seams are coming apart. Some planks are coming up. There are big bubbles under some of the planks. There are numerous bad cuts. There is one long big hump half way through the floor. ****** calls them "imperfections". ****** and what he called "one of his best guys" were here in March 2022. The guy pounded on some of the bubbles and looked at a few other things and left after 45 mins. Haven't seen them since. I would like this bad job fixed. This was a bad situation from the get go. Just not enough room to write about all that went wrong. If you need more info, please contact me. Next step will be small claims court.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
They may have been out several times, but the issues/repairs were not done. Last time someone was out,(March '22) they were supposed to come back and do repairs. DID NOT COME BACK! And did not contact me. This company does not stand behind their product/work. Very disappointed. Like I said, all I get is the run around and/or sarcastic remarks.
