    TempWorks is charging me $300+ for a software issue on their end which they did resolve. When I spoke with the technician, he had no idea why a linking issue was not working. It did not work for me. It did not work for him. He stated he would return my call. The same day, the glitch was removed. I emailed him to let him know.Now, their billing department is telling me that it was never a glitch on their side. It magically started working after the technician was at a loss.

    TempWorks was unable to identify any bug or glitch that affected linking. TempWorks fielded a Zoom call with ****************** to learn more about what she was experiencing and trying to achieve. While the time spent investigating or remedying a software bug would never be billed to a customer, the issue raised by ****************** was one of ****************** not understanding a piece of software functionality (as opposed to any glitch, bug, or deficiency). We value our customers and will always work to resolve issues. In this case, because the issue was knowledge-based, as opposed to software deficiency-based, the charges to We Staff Better were properly billable.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    It is improbable that the tech was unable to make the issue work during our initial call and then it just happened to start working several hours later. Had there been no glitch on the TempWorks side, the technician would have been able to make the linking issue work during our call. When we ended the call, the technician stated he was also unable to make the linking issue work but would investigate and set up a follow up call. It is improbable that during the time the technician was investigating the issue, the glitch was resolved by some sort of magic and their system began working properly.

    I would also like to point out that in my experience so far with TempWorks, they have been extremely dishonest. They have raised my prices, charged me for issues not fixed prior to rollout that they were aware of, etc. I have to really watch our invoices to ensure they are correct. It seems to be an issue every month.

    As previously noted, the call was a discussion of the client's desired end goal, which was followed by the technician finding a solution after the call. No software changes occurred. While ******************* believes this to represent a bug, it does not. There are occasions like this one during which an Analyst or Technician will need to review a client's end goals and determine the right solution.

    TempWorks is committed to issuing accurate invoicing and correcting errors when they are found.  As recently as last month, TempWorks waived legitimate charges in a good will effort to improve its relationship with We Staff Better and begin forming a more collaborative relationship. In the time since, ***************** has declined multiple opportunities to set up calls with our ****************** team. These calls could assist We Staff Better in getting more out of the TempWorks platform, as well as reducing these types of support costs. The calls would have no cost as a service to We Staff Better as an additional token of good will.
