      Purchase an FVP battery in the ********** AZ area on April 14, 2023 with a 2year warranty. On August 24, 2024 we had to place a call FVP battery due our battery being dead. They did send a tow truck out to give us a jump. The vehicle did start however when we turned the vehicle off and attempted to start it again it would not start. Luckly we were near an *************************** shop. We were able to get the vehicle there with the assistance of one of there employees. We did purchase a new battery from them. I contacted *** battery warranty and informed of all of this in September 2024 when we returned home. My point of cont$180.65. I am not looking for the amount of the battery back however the battery was 16 months old and it died. I believe there should be some type of compensation since we had to purchase a new battery out of state for $ ******

      **** legal department received the complaint to the BBB by ******* ***** on April 17, 2025. Upon receipt, the matter was researched to determine the facts surrounding Ms. ****** complaint. We were able to determine that a request for a check to reimburse Ms. ***** was submitted to **** corporate office in October, 2024 in the amount of $180.65. However, it appears that the check request was inadvertently misplaced. Upon being made aware of the fact that Ms. ***** had not yet been reimbursed, the request was promptly resubmitted on April 8, 2025 (prior to the submitted BBB complaint).  A check was issued on April 21, 2025 (check #*****) and mailed to Ms. ****** attention. As of the date of this response, Ms. ***** should either have already received the check, or should in the very near future.

      It was never FMPs intention to not reimburse Ms. ************ FMP strives to ensure that its customers are consistently treated fairly.  Unfortunately, in this case, FMPs processes were not as accurate as we would have hoped, and FMP is now working to improve and streamline the customer reimbursement process.  Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

      My husband and I owned ******** Repair in ******* **. We had been customers of Factory **, having a wholesale commercial charge account with ********************** for over two decades. We always paid our monthly bills in a timely fashion and had a good working relationship with Factory **. This past December, we closed our business, as we retired. In March of 2023, I sent a letter to Factory ** ***************** in ********* telling them we'd closed our business and instructed them to close our account. We had an $821.41 CREDIT on our account that I asked to be refunded. At the same time, I also sent an email with this information to their *************** in *********. I received no response from either correspondence. I called their accounting **** on 4/14/23 to ask that a refund check be mailed to our business address. I was told then that the request would take three months before it would be processed. I objected to the amount of time that would take since I had credits with several other charge accounts that were refunded to me within one to two weeks, Factory was the only outstanding account with our business. I was told they'd expedite my request. I called back on 5/4/23 asking about my refund check. I was told it would be expedited. I called and left a message on 5/22/2023, was told again it would be expedited. I left another message on 6/15/23 asking where my refund check was. No call returned. I called on 6/21/23, was once again told it would take three months and my refund would be expedited. It was then I told Factory I would be filing a complaint with the BBB as this was taking far too long to be resolved. I haven't heard from Factory since and still have no refund check. I need my refund of $821.41 in order to deposit it into my business account while it is still active and then close out my accounting for my business activity in 2022. (I do not have a current monthly invoice due to the fact that Factory doesn't send billing if an account has a credit balance.)

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      But be advised, Factory ** **************** did not help me.  I reached out to a local Factory ** representative after filing this complaint and she took care of the matter.  The resolution was never addressed by their Corporate Office.
