    Zero stars - terrible experience in lakeville, Mn
    Gassen issued me two violations on trash day with no proof, then blamed their software instead of taking responsibility and were not sure of the days. Both violations have the same day which is not possible. They were slow to respond and showed no understanding of Minnesota HOA law (Chapter 515B), which requires proper notice and due process. This company is unresponsive, dismissive, and doesn’t follow the legal standards they’re supposed to enforce. Not recommended for any HOA.
    Going on the third month and really don’t have any idea if things will get resolved. Really poor service provided.

    They inforce city streets, I got a fine for trash cans on the city street paid by the tax payers. The Board has a personal hate against me so they are allowed to break the law

    NEVER buy a house that they have any part of. They do illegal practices like giving you a fine on a public street that is owned by the city.

    Like in every HOA, there are rules and regulations created by the Board of Directors and we as the management company are responsible for enforcing.  If you'd like to bring your concern to the Board of Directors at the next board meeting, we'd be happy to put your concern on the agenda.

    Horrible company, horrible customer service, company very unresponsive for contact via phone calls or emails, committee holds secret meetings to make decisions for customers, HOA dues nearly double over the course of 11 months. completely unsatisfied with this company.

    They used to be better. But they assigned a new Property Manager to our HOA who is terrible. She does not get back to me on issues for weeks sometimes. Promises things that dont come through. Is rude and patronizing, as though she is the customer, not me
    As said, previous Property Managers (other than one) were very good,
    Gassen really dropped the ball on having our pool ready to open by Memorial Day and now I dont nkow if it will be done at all this summer.

    Excessive fees and poor customer service! Our property manager won’t even call us back. They just keep slapping us with excessive fees and won’t take our call to discuss. I think it’s time to involve the Attorney General.

    I would rate 0 stars if I could. The problem is with Kirk Gassen himself. For the past few years I have experienced non stop harrasment and discrimination by the Countryside Condominiums board and caretakers. This is to simply use a room for my Traditional Chinese Tai Chi group. Eileen the care taker and board president have repeatedly harassed us about using the room. I escalated this concern to Kirk who promised we would not be harassed further by anyone back in July 2023. Kirk now has allowed the Countryside Condominiums board to lie and state I damaged tables and now have prohibited use of the room based on the lies. Now Kirk refuses to do what's right and assist me with preventing harrassment/discrimination. Kirk has allowed this board on top of everything fine me for no just cause! Gassen Company is simply unethical.

    On the Gassen website, in the “Training Center” there are recorded videos of Kirk ******, the owner and CEO. I realized almost everything he said in the videos was the exact opposite of our experience with Gassen. Their “guaranteed”response times and supposed concern about building trust couldn’t be more untrue in our case. It’s odd that his words could be so contrary to reality.

    I have asked company several times to fix rotted porch wood, to have landscaping trim the woods back so they are not taking over the grass in yard, to trim tree down that is almost to my front door, to fix siding that is warped, etc. None of these have been completed. In addition, there was a deck project with a special assessment and am now paying an extra $90.00 per month for bad decks - I don't have a deck, I have a porch which wasn't in that special assessment. They also raised the association dues an extra $85.00 starting Jan. 2024. So, now with the special assessment I'm paying $200.00 extra a month. Completely unethical to do that to people as if people aren't suffering enough with inflation.

    I buy my condo 5 months ago and I'm ready to leave Gassen they like dictate what to do on your own property I don't have hot water in my shower after they change the boiler the on site manager canceled all my work orders mention I'm not the only who don't have hot water also the manager she put public my personal information with out my approval .

    From 11/21/23 I'm hearing the same my hot water is include in the *** so I'm paying for something what I don't get for months plus ******************* she's treating me like she's my landlord maybe because I'm a emigrant?She's canceling all my work orders she's taking out my notes from the residents boards from halway.

    Worst!No response on issues-when I called first time not having hot water was 11/21/23 and you are saying now 1/3/24 you take action? I called Gassen not ******************* because she was canceling all my work orders and being *** to me ( maybe my accent bothering her but I'm proud speaking 3 languages)so I'm paying my HOA and don't have service's like hot water,heated garage, laundry room with hot water so can kill the germs,dryers very dirty send pictures when I put my work orders and the manager acting like she's my landlord, the same manager she put my personal information public with out of my approval
