  We hired ******* Moving for our move from ** to ** and they contracted out our move to 1st Class Moving in MN. The whole experience was TERRIBLE. When the packers arrived they literally threw things in boxes without packing materials or any care taken. Heavy items (a welder) was thrown on top of fragile items. Needless to say we had about $10000 worth of damage to our goods. In addition half way through the "packing" the supervisor told us that the estimate was wrong and they would have to charge us what amounted to another 50% on top of our quote. They had us over a barrel. We were closing on our home and had to move out that day so we were forced to pay. They also had us sign for insurance which they told us was INSURANCE that would give us up to $12000 worth of coverage should anything need to be replaced. When the items were delivered to us heavy boxes were stacked on top of light boxes which collapsed on top of each other and things were literally thrown into our storage unit. The supervisor was supposed to email us the *** of the inventory list which he never did despite asking multiple times. We had taken pictures on our phones luckily. When we went through our goos and ascertained all the damage we got quotes which we were required to do and sent those with photographs to the "insurance company" and were told they only offer .60 per lb of damage. So why on earth would we need to get quotes! We are more than angry about this moving company and how they packed our items and the total lack of care taken with our move. They are fraudsters and scammers and should not be able to remain in business based on our experience and the experience of many others we have now spoken to.

  This company is so unprofessional I went through ******************* and was quoted ******* I ended up paying ******* 1st class movers came to my house and the 3 employees were drinking and demanding a ****** tip. I contacted the manager *** and he just offered an apology after me showing him the screen shots. I was told to give a ****** deposit upon pick up and *** would not ship my belongings until I paid ******* I also was granted a delivery date of Aug. 2 or Aug 3rd at the latest and I didn't receive my stuff until Aug. 21. My items were missing screws which I couldn't put my furniture together. This company was so unprofessional and charged me more then what I was told. BEWARE

  If I could leave a zero for this company I would. I have never done a long distance move before and a broker Our Best Move hooked us up with 1st Class Moving **. I have never had an experience like I did and hope no one ever uses this company and gets ripped off like I did, not only did they tack on an extra $1,000 to the original quote we were given but never gave me any paperwork to file a claim against them. No **** of laden, nothing, told me they would send a copy of all paperwork to my brother via text message he never received anything. Without that I can not file a claim for my lost and damaged items. Very shoddy workmanship! Pick up was a nightmare not only did one mover speak English, so it was impossible to tell them what items were fragile, so they took apart a porcelain lamp and shoved it in a box resulting in a piece being broken off. I had the majority of my belongings packed and marked, yet they charged me extra because I was told, I had more items than they were told. They were given a total inventory of what I had. At the end of manhandling my items, i was told they excepted tips. The delivery was as much of a nightmare. Once again English wasn't spoken only this time we used a phone as a translator.. We had to pay the full delivery fee in either cash or postal money order only before they would unload, we were given 1/2 hours notice they were here. I was given paperwork this time, however in the commotion of trying to talk to them and seeing that the boxes and furniture were in one piece. I failed to notice it was the wrong paperwork it belonged to someone else totally. I have an antique lamp damaged, a table leg broken, a box and a rug ,totally missing. I called the broker several times and was finally told to file a claim against them and was given the website address to do so. Only to find out I need paperwork I was never given or that was for someone else. In essence my experience with 1st Class Moving was a total bust.believe me don't hire.
