I'm disappointed I hired Twin Cities Siding LLC - I believe the company takes on too many summer jobs which leaves a skelton crew & a forgetful manager with too much to do.
    1) I was told that the employees would be on site until the job was done. There were quite a few workers the first couple of days, then it dropped to two. When they were close to finishing the job, they would show up for part of the day. I believe they went to a different job. I had to call to have caulk work finished, & complain about all the nails & large shards that were left, plus calling to move the siding off my dying lawn. I believe it took over 2 weeks to complete the job.
    2) The metal casings around 80% of my windows were bent and/or scratched. I told the manager, it had to be the workers as the dents were all in the same areas. The manager had the workers rewrap affected windows (Integrity-Marvin).
    3) The siding on the garage wall had dirt spots all over. I tried washing it off with water first, then soap/water. I couldn't clean it. The workers came back, tried washing the spots off, they couldn't get it clean, so they had to use a solvent to clean it.
    4) I opened a leftover paint can to clean around the top (I do this with all my paint cans). A mini paint roller was laying in the paint. A worker threw it in the can, instead of the trash.
    5) There are two reasons I'm writing this review:
5.1: I have called for several months, to get my final inspection paperwork. I'm still waiting for the final document from Twin Cities Siding. (Permit documents are sent to the company - per inspection dept.)
Two: My neighbors had their siding & shingles started about 3 weeks after my siding was started . They hired a different company. This siding/roofing crew were done within 5 days (this includes cleanup, caulking, and removal of the dumpster). They did a fantastic job. No dents/scratches on the window casing, barely any nails laying around, all materials picked up and taken right away.

    Dear *****,

We want to extend our deepest apologies for the dissatisfaction you experienced with your recent project. As a company, our primary objective is to ensure that every task is completed to the highest standards, and falling short of this goal is truly disheartening.
Allow us to address each of your concerns individually:
Regarding the crew size fluctuation during the project, while it's not uncommon for us to adjust personnel for efficiency, I understand your reservations. In hindsight, a more deliberate consideration of crew size upfront would have likely yielded better results. As for material pickup delays, we have investigated the timeline and will engage in discussions with our suppliers to expedite future delivery and pick-up timelines.
The issues with the metal window wraps were attributed to a lack of previous structural support and inadequate care during installation. To rectify this, we committed to replacing all damaged wraps at no additional cost to you. We pride ourselves on being mindful of existing structures during our work, and we acknowledge that this oversight was unacceptable.
While we are happy that our paint crew was able to address your concerns, we regret that you felt compelled to undertake any cleanup efforts yourself.
Regarding the unconventional practice of leaving rollers in paint cans, this was done with good intentions to prevent drying out and streamline cleanup. However, we acknowledge the need for clearer communication about such practices in the future.
We take full accountability for the delays in inspection completion and final paperwork. We've already implemented procedural changes to expedite these processes, recognizing their importance to both you and regulatory requirements. Additionally, we understand your disappointment in not meeting the high standards we strive for. Rest assured, we're committed to addressing this shortfall and reaffirming our commitment to excellence.
Your concerns are not taken lightly, and we want to assure you that they have been heard and validated. This experience serves as a valuable learning opportunity for us to improve our practices, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration it has caused.
Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, and please know that we are dedicated to earning back your trust and satisfaction.

    Warm regards,
    ************

I hired Twin Cities Siding Professionals in 2006 for siding, in 2011 for windows in the main house, and again this year for the last windows in the back porch. I think I'm out of projects on this house, but would not hesitate to hire them again for my next house. Terry and Kristen should be very proud of the excellent company they've built, and the excellent people they've surrounded themselves with.

TCSP did a great job re-siding our house. The project manager provided options to manage the overall costs and was very responsive. He personally visited the project when we had questions. He conducted detailed inspections to ensure the high-quality work.

I had a bunch of detailed questions about an insurance settlement for replacement siding. Kristen and Terry were incredibly responsive and professional and gave me straight answers to all my questions. It was a pleasure to consult with them.

Very pleased. Craftsmanship is excellent. ***** gave me different ideas and options and explained which were the most cost effective. **** kept a close eye on all the installations and dealt with the "wrinkles" that occur with an older house. Communications was always excellent. Class act from start to finish.
