This is a non profit supposed to care about the animals all they did was worry about how much money I had to continue further treatment. They gave my kitten pain meds ,knowing ***** so backed up from not pooping. the pain meds just mad it worse and three days later still has not pooped. I called mission explaining his situation, that he has not pooped yet and I owned them 1500 dollars. So I asked if he could be seen and could they add it to first visit? I was told no and that they could set up a new payment plan but I would need 30 percent down and I would have to get to 300 dollars before they could set up payment plan. My heart sunk I was devastated and my kitten was very very ill. I had contact my mom and we took him to another vet it was 350 dollars they said he would have died from a blockage if he didn't get into the vet. My heart was just broken how could a vet that claims to care about the animals be so cold and not care. I am not the only one this has happened to either guarded around and read other reviews its happening to a lot of lower imam people. I am on disability and get limited amount money. This needs to be addressed the way they are to the animals it really breaks my heart.

They say that they help lower income. They don't! They give a big talk about how caring they are but NO!! If you don't have money, forget about help. Expect to wait hours even if you have an appointment. (That is with full payment)!!!! Don't come here on an emergency! They will only send you away! Please don't waste your time. Money is their game. Animals are less than secondary. People have given them bad reviews and they come back with all kinds of excuses trying to make themselves look better. They are too busy! Etc. But when you come in and there is no one there and they still send you away. Totally wrong place to go unless you have money. Even then BEWARE!!

This clinic prays on vulnerable low-income pet owners. I brought my cat **** in and they ran a lot of tests costing lots of money and never provided me the results of these test, even after I repeatedly reached out. A month later when I had to put **** down, I reach out for an appointment and was told we would have to come to the clinic at 7am to wait and see if they could take **** that day. They also told me there would be an additional charge for a 'quality of life' exam. I called a few other clinics, and got a cheaper same day appointment to put my suffering, dying cat out of her misery.

I want to share an experience I had on Jan. 5. I came in 10 min late for my 4:30p appointment. I have a newborn baby at home and did the absolute best I could to get off work and make the 45-min drive. I was informed the doctor would not be seeing me because they leave at 5p. While I understand late is late, having some compassion for other people wouldve been greatly appreciated. Had I been 20 min late, I would have understood. *** spent hundreds of dollars at this facility but will not be coming back.

They say low income, well even though you waited hrs to be seen in urgent care to be turned away because they met there quota,to have to drive out there again the next morning what you would save in vet costs you spend in gas, and to be placed on a non guarantee list. No appointment available for weeks. Thanks for nothing but adding more stress to my life

Dear *****,We do not have you in our medical records system so can't reach out to you personally. We are sorry our policy and protocols did not meet your satisfaction. Our urgent care, available seven days a week, is a first come first serve. There is no "quota" but we do reach our capacity quite frequently which means our doctors and staff reach the maximum pets they can see per day. We are only human and have to set some parameters for our staff to do their jobs. Quite frequently being our non-guaranteed list does work for same day service. We're sorry you did not take advantage of this. We do our darnedest to get patients in, but this is also based on serenity of concerns and critical pets will be seen first. We provide help for owners and pets who are are turned away in the form of giving out other clinic names and locations and doing our best to help you the next day. We open appointments for 2-3 out every week and these are not for sick pets, only wellness. We truly hope you were able to find help for your pet. Sincerely, Mission Animal Hospital
