  It was after we received the results of a radon test and learned it was higher than it should be that we became acquainted with Stuart C********* and his Black
  Bear Construction company. We had heard of them and seen his trucks in our neighborhood, so we gave him a call about our radon issue.He did an overnight radon test which indicated mitigation was advised for our house. We made the decision to go ahead with it, and as soon as we did that, the process started. It was all very
  new to us, so we definitely appreciated the professional and thorough service we received from everyone at Black Bear - from the electrician to the installers. They explained how a radon system works to get your home to a safe radon level and were extremely helpful in explaining the different test numbers and what was being
  done to get those numbers in line with where they should be.
  We were especially grateful with the care they gave to our concerns as to how the piping would look on our home and designed our system in the least conspicuous manner possible. We were in the loop every day throughout the whole process. Our system has been working great and gives us peace of mind that the radon level in our house is now at a safe level. Black Bear Construction was back to do the six-month re-test right on time and provided us with the good results right away.
  We will definitely be calling on Black Bear Construction in the future and highly recommend the company to anyone needing work done on their house.

  BBB remodeled my lower level. We had new paint, carpet, and ceilings scraped throughout. In addition, we had our bathroom gutted and a glass walk-in shower installed. Estimates came in a little higher than expected so Stuart worked with us to pare down our costs. His crew were very professional and kept me informed about schedule changes. They cleaned up after themselves every day and were very careful about keeping things as dust free as possible after I explained that we had a dust allergy. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend them

  Stuart, Tyler, and the team did a fantastic job with building our new kitchen deck. We had a huge tree fall on our deck and roof the previous summer. Black Bear Builders did excellent work with the repairs to our roof and the new build of our deck. They not only paid close attention to every detail, but they also listened to what we were looking for and kept us updated every step of the way. We highly recommend this company!
