    Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
    Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Consent Order

    On November 22, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business  violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(8)(9); 326B.33, subd. 12,14,15,16; 326N.46, subd. 1b; 326B.47 (2022) and Minn. Rule 3800.3530, 3800.3540 and 3801.3780 (2021). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to only transact in their licensed name; ensure that all vehicles used by the business will display their electrical and plumbing contractors licenses and ensure that all who perform electrical work for the business are active licensed master or journeyworkers or are registered unlicensed electricians.  The business also agreed to ensure all who perform plumbing work for the business are active licensed master or journeyworkers or are registered unlicensed plumbers and the file all required electrical and/or plumbing permits at or before beginning work and schedule all required inspections as required.  The business further agreed to notify DLI in writing within 15 days of any changes in ownership, officers of the business and to notify DLI in writing of the loss or termination of the designated responsible licensed individual for their electrical contractor and/or plumbing contractor licenses. and submit the replacement information as required. 


    The business will also pay $4,000.00 of a $10,000.00 fine, with the balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
