On 10/19/2023 a technician from the company came to clean our dryer vents. He did an inspection.and told us what was needed, and we needed to sign the estimate which we did. Once starting the job, the technician said there were additional items totaling $1200 that we needed to have done but that he could do basic tasks that would get our dryer working which we agreed to. We paid the $355 bill and when we tried the dryer it did not work . No drying and no air flow out of the vent. There was no address or phone number on the receipt to contact the company.

Sorry for any confusion we caused. However we were never were notified by our customer that they were experiencing a dry time problem after we left. We would normally follow up with a phone call to see what the problem is and what we need to do to solve it. We love our customers as we would not have a business without them.

Note, we did have have a signed agreement before we started to go ahead with a cleaning and repair of the transition at the agreed upon price. Once we pulled out the appliances to perform our services we had agreed to, we discovered that the dryer vent inboard of the wall was a non code compliant flammable, plastic material. It can't be cleaned. We informed our customer that he needed a complete replacement or reroute of the venting at an additional charge. In the interim we would try to get his venting cleared and the replacement of the transition would allow them use of the dryer to dry their clothes. This would be a temporary solution. Apparently the work we did didn't allow the use of the dryer, it didn't work. I can see why our customers expectations were not met. A full replacement or reroute of the venting is required to solve the problem at this point. We would be glad to refund the cost of the work we have done so far as it didn't solve the problem. Again, a complete replacement of the venting is required.

I am rejecting this response because: Once they refund me for the unacceptable work, I will accept their response.

I have not cashed the check. I can shred it or mail it back to you. Please text me or email me what you would like me to do with your check. We left a magnet on your dryer appliance with the date we were on site for service and our contact information. I would like to terminate further involvement with this customer. They need to hire a contractor to solve the replacement of the plastic non code material that is currently serving as their dryer vent.
