    Had this company give us a quote to reattach some siding on our house. Quoted us 900-1200 dollars and assured us it would be no more than 1200. Crew came, made necessary repairs in about 2 hours(3 guys) and said it would be under warranty. Got billed 1500 dollars. Called and told them the crew was only here for 2 1/2 hours. They told me it was subcontractors and they billed for a full day. Lowered the bill to 1200 which was still excessive in my opinion but said the work would be warranted. Now siding has come off which they repaired and they refuse to honor the warranty

    To clarify, the siding that we repaired was originally improperly installed by another contractor, so our scope of work was focused on reattaching and securing the panels that had come loose. We also want to acknowledge the miscommunication around the billing process while the crew was subcontracted and billed for a full day, we did adjust the final invoice to honor the initial estimate. We apologize for any confusion this caused.
    Regarding the warranty, we always aim to stand by our work. If the siding we repaired has come loose again, wed like to understand the issue better, especially considering it may involve factors beyond the repairs we made; including high wind storms. Please reach out to us directly so we can assess the situation and work together on a solution.

    While Crest Exteriors LLC was completing a job at my house while I wasn’t home, my outdoor security cameras captured the worker saying “that only took us ******* 10 minutes, but we’re going to say an hour”. If you want a contractor that will ************ charge you and talk about it out in the open, Crest Exteriors is a great choice.
