    Koppy Motors advertises they sell Certified vehicles . In the industry Certified means the car has been tested and any and all repairs found have been repaired to the manufactures standards. They sold new a car that they new had numerous things wrong with it and did not disclose these problems to me and when I asked if everything worked and if anything is wrong with it I was told nothing wrong and everything works as it should. A week after their 15 day warranty the brakes failed, the tires they but in that I was told were new were in fact used and they did not match and they knew it. It is an all wheel drive vehicle and all tires much match or it can cause major problems. Also the transmission stated to fail. I paid Koppy motors $700 to to resolve the brake and tire problem. I asked them about the transmission and was told it would be more than $5,000 to fix it and it was my responsibility. This business knowingly skid me a vehicle they knew had problems m. Their own mechanic even told me they did. I have dine taken the car to another repair shop to have the transmission rebuilt at a cost off $6,000. I want people be aware if the dishonesty of this dealership.

    Hello,

    in regards to **** *****, he purchased a vehicle with over 150k miles that was a as is vehicle, we did provide the standard documents for the buyers guide law required by the state to cover engine and transmission issues within 15 days or 500 miles, that does not cover tires and brakes those are items that are considered wearable and is maintenance, we did not tell Bill that we put brand new tires, when he wanted work done to his vehicle we gave him a discount to do the repairs he asked, also we offered him a warranty on the day of purchase and he declined that as well and later asked if he could buy one after issues he had which would be in violating of our contract. we have helped him discounts and have been extremely helpful.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    They are lying. I was told they put 2 new tires on the car. They were used tires. Their own mechanic ****** told me he worked on the car to get it ready for sale. He told me even though he told the dealer owner the brakes were defective and the tires were mismatched to go ahead and send it to the lot to sell . Koppy motors ad say they sell Certified vehicles. No where in any paper work does it state that it was sold/purchased as is. I have since taken the car to transmission repair shop yo have the transmission rebuilt and i was told someone put an additive to the transmission to hide the fact that the transmission wad failing. I want other buyer to know this dealership is dishonest. They have had several other bad reviews regarding selling vehicles with known transmission problems.

    that is simply just not the case, # 1 we don't advertise certified vehicles for that high of mileage, # 2 I have spoken to ****** and he did not have any conversation with you in that nature at all. once again we offered you a extended warranty and you declined it. we spoke on the phone several times about this and we did our best to help out and I feel that we went above and beyond to help you, you brought your vehicle somewhere else that you told me you did not trust and wanted us to do the work so we did and I gave you a discount and we gave you cost on 4 new tires. Again we are sorry that this happened to you, however that's why we offer extended warranties because vehicles can have issues at any time and no one can predict that especially with over 150k miles on it, and you declined that.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    They are lying. Look at their website it clearly states certified vehicles I paid $700 for the new tires. They repaired the faulty brakes that they knew were faulty when they sold me the car. They also knew the tires they had put in the car before selling it were mismatched which can cause the transmission to fail. This is a very dishonest dealer. And i will fight tooth and nail to make everyone aware of it. Like I stated look at their reviews and you will see I am not the first one who had issues with transmissions problems not disclosed.
