****************** from Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Twin Cities came out on Sunday, Feb 12. We had a backup in the main line to the septic tank. ******* fixed the problem, checked out the condition of the line to the septic and provided me with information on a potentially serious situation that he found. ******* demonstrated knowledge and professionalism. I would be pleased to have him for my future plumbing problems and/or needs.

Dear *******,A huge thank you for going out of your way to post a review on the BBB website. I'm glad ******* took great care of you by resolving your immediate issue and alerting you to a serious hidden issue. Yes, unlike several of our competitors, we still work after hours, weekends and holidays. Unfortunately, plumbing emergencies don't follow a calendar or clock. It would be our honor to be your "go-to" plumbing company.

We were charged $1,351.00 to replace two water valves to install a washer. The service man was here an hour, the parts cost $20.00 each at any hardware store. We feel like we were robbed.I would never recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. We thought ****** was kidding when he said it would be $1,000.00 He left our home without telling ** wheat the bottom line of the cost would be. We called the office and asked for the receipt the next day and they finally sent out the receipt three days after the work was done. We nearly fainted when the bills total was $1351.00 charged to our Master Card. I would never recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone. We feel as thought we were robbed and held ** in the street. We are senior citizens and feel we were taken advantage of.

Dear ***** and *****************************,I am disheartened by this entire interaction. Our technician was kind, considerate and made every effort to not only meet. but exceed your expectations. He was also cognizant of the needs of your fellow condominium residents in relation to your NON-Emergency plumbing work. He provide a quote, ***** signed the quote, ****** performed the agreed upon work for the quoted price. You signed the completed work authorization and paid the invoice on site. You were both pleased with the completed work and offered ****** a tip, to which he declined. Two day's later, **** called with concerns about the price. We listen to her concerned and provided a partial refund in an effort to make the situation amenable to both parties. I have included a DETAILED, factual account of the events of our interaction below:Our office received a request from ************************* to provide plumbing services at approximately 10:53 am on December 16, 2022. Our company was able to accommodate the request to provide same day services and our technician arrived at Mrs. *********** residence at approximately 1:36 pm.Upon arrival, our technician met with ***********************************. ************************ remained the primary point of contact with our technician throughout the remainder of the service call.Mr. and Mrs. *********** residence is in a multi-unit condominium building. The requested scope of work required the water be shut off to multiple units within the building. As this work was non- emergency work, a 48-hour notice to the other residents is required. Our technician assessed the situation and presented ************************ with a quote in the amount of $1,351.19 to complete the scope of work requested. Our technician verbally informed ************************ that the work required the water be shut off and, that since this would affect multiple units, a 48-hour notice was required to inform the other tenants of the water shut off.************************ was adamant that they needed the work completed that day and challenged our tech stating the notice was not required. ************************ stated he had been in charge of the building maintenance and was able to shut the water off. Our technician reluctantly agreed to move forward with the work knowing that it could have a negative impact on other residents.************************ agreed to the quote to complete the work and authorized by signature for our technician to proceed. After receiving authorization, our technician set up his workstation and proceeded to complete the work. Knowing that the potential impact of the water shut off, our technician completed the work expeditiously.Upon completion of the work, our technician presented ************************ with the invoice for the completed work and requested payment. ************************ signed for acceptance of the work completed and signed again for the payment of the balance of work due. Upon completion, Mr. and ************************* both verbally expressed to our technician how happy they were that our company was able to provide same day service and that he was able to complete the work that same day. They even went so far with their praise that they offered to tip him. Our technician respectfully declined the tip as is our companys standard practice. On December 18, 2022, our office received feedback from ************************* expressing that she was not happy about the cost of the work that was completed on the 16th. She stated "We had to cancel Christmas because of the cost of the the plumbing work." Based on this feedback, our management team looked into the job further. Our assessment determined that the work was quoted properly. However, because the work was completed same day, a return trip was not required, and the cost of the job should be reduced. One of our managers reached out to ************************* to apologize for the situation and offered a credit of $370. Our general practice would be to refund the credit card charged. However, ************************* requested the refund be provided by check. Check **** was issued to ******************************* on 12/22/2022. The check was mailed to the address on file.We live by our "Done Right Promise." We have made every effort to come to a fair, honest and civil resolution in this matter.*********,********************* - Owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Twin Cities
