    I purchased a 2015 ************* GLA 250 from Borton Volvo in *************. When the sales agent was going to offer a test drive the battery was dead and then the check engine light was on. I assumed that the check engine light was on because the battery was dead and all the computers probably weren't up to speed when it was pulled out of the dealership. I was assured by the sales agent that this was a great car and there were no problems with it except for the dead battery. I drove 3 hours away to go see this vehicle so on my way home about ******************************************************************************************************************************************************* the front and rear of the vehicle. I sent a message to the sales agent regarding these issues and he said to take it to a trusted car repair shop that use almost every day and was advised they would clear the codes and check out my car for free. I was not able to get the vehicle back to them until the following Friday due to my working hours. Once I got the vehicle to ******* Auto Repair they put it up on a lift and showed me a really bad ball joint in the front of the vehicle which could have been a potentially catastrophic failure in the steering of the vehicle. This certainly made my stomach drop thinking that I was driving this vehicle from ********** ********* to *********************** where the steering could have broken at any time and could have either severely injured me and my children or killed us. I advised the car repair guy since they are quite familiar with Borton Volvo that they have to repair my vehicle or they can keep it and then I followed up with the phone call just today and the auto repair shop said Borton Volvo will not repair my vehicle so I sent them an email requesting a full refund. I understand when I was purchasing this vehicle is that it had been inspected and it clearly was not otherwise they sold a vehicle that had a dangerous defect.
