      I made an inquiry through Psychology Today specifically seeking services to maintain access to my medications and medication management because I moved from ******* to *********. I specifically explained this was the purpose of me seeking services. I was contacted by Birch Services who said they could assist and then put me in contact with a therapist who also said they could assist me with my request. However, they waited until the 2nd or third appointment, when I expressed I was running out of my medications and needed refills, that they were unable to prescribe medications. As a result, I lost access and went un-medicated for a month until I was able to find a DO. This caused me major disruptions with my job and my personal life. They also assured me my appointments would only cost ***** with my insurance but charging me ******* per appointment and I owe almost $400. This seems highly unethical and irresponsible conduct from both the clinic and therapists.
